Mike helped me survive my very first Craig's List purchase. He's an incredible resource. The seller had it close to perfect. I bought an Ortofon Blue 2M cartridge and replaced the suspension springs. Sounds very nice. Makes my La Scalas sing sweetly. Cincy4 points

Old school TD-160 side 3, Miles of Aisles Dirtmudd, helped me make vinyl the star of my system. Thanks buddy! Cincy4 points

Yea it's the Classic, just got it last fall. Put it with one of their preamps and made my vinyl the absolute star of my setup. It's not that superpack @dirtmudd came with a mm cart, that I replaced with a Audio Technica MC. I did put a suede mat on it right when I got it too. Pro Ject put a suede mat on that superpack to start out with. I highly recommend "Hide-in-the-Sound" at amazon, that's where I got mine... "....no static allowed"4 points

The etch on the LP I was thinking of isn't the refracting type, but in keeping with the RED on my mind lately, it's perfect. Big changes happening with my `Canes, we need a GM, we need a coach, we've got underutilized good young players by the boatload. Change is good just for the sake of it this time around. Nothing startlingly new about my southern rock bands new LP, but it's a good listen. Three sides to it the fourth has a House Of Stark wolf baying at the moon, tried getting a good picture. Not sure it worked. Blackberry Smoke:4 points

Hey, no problem, hope it works out. Ive been wanting to meet Jim for a while, and check out his Klipsch mancave of speakers. I've also been wanting to go to St Louis for a baseball game. Does anybody know if La Scalas will fit in a GMC Acadia? I have my trusty GMC full size truck, but then weather might be a concern.4 points

Well, look who's talking... That's a beauty you've got yourself. You get it from Mike or did he direct you to the right folks to restore it?3 points

Remind you of anything? Looks like a Linn or Thorens. That’s sweet in my book. Cincy3 points

So I'll get out a bright flashlight and try the one I've got that's etched later. Now..... my search for that sound my thirty year old cassette has, without the w&f my tape deck has now is over! From a westside (of the USA) record store. I'm taking the day off da^nitt! My favorite album by the artist a lot of you sincerely love to hear...3 points

Bottom of the ninth, bases loaded by three straight walks. Closer Mel Famie does not have his usual stuff. Seems he’d partied too hard the night before. After going 3 and 2, he throws ball four and walks the batter, forcing in the winning run. It’s a walk-off walk. During the post game interview, the winning manager explained he’d heard the opposing team’s closer had consumed prodigious amounts of Schlitz the night before and was still hung over, therefore, he lacked his usual control. He offered this opinion, “It’s the beer that made Mel Famie walk us.”3 points

Diggin on those TT shots. Saw a Fisher, Dual, and a nice Thorens lately and reading reviews. Getting a new P-34 cart/stylus(elliptical) as soon as I make my mind up about which one. Grado, Ortofon. and a Shure in the running. At 1.5g weight, I am a low mass tonearm. Almost picked up my Technics and a few records from storage this weekend. Getting ready to hear some vinyl with the Scalas. Enjoy!2 points

Women from Milwaukee tried drinking beer at the beach, but had to quit; they kept getting sand in their Schlitz.2 points

sand blasted... I get to listen to some music this evening. The grandkid is here. Wife will allow me to turn it up for her ... she is dancing. I think the kid is going to end up with my stereo when "I am done with it"... she's the only one in the immediate family that enjoys music.2 points

lol Now that the wind had laid down, I figured out what to do for fun, with it ... Nobody ever accused me of being "quick". With my stature, 6' 1" and 125lb, instead of fighting the wind. Make a wing suit/kite and tether myself. I try to keep things on the light side.2 points

@WillyBob That movie was great, besides the goofy car chase with the (Blessed) Magnificent Mopar in pole position. Aretha. James. Ray. +. and I did not know that Aykroyd and Belushi had it in them. Darn good tunes! Yea the first three years of Saturday Night Live are historic in my viewpoint. Was it intentional????? millions of hard rocking, hard partying teens (If you're under 40 you have no idea what I'm talking about, and probably don't wanna know!! Carrie Fisher with attitude and a bazooka!) were off the streets soon after 11:00 pm every Sat night somewhere where there were no parents (wah wah na ah ha ha...... adults in Charlie Brown lingo) Nope, it was just an Historical aberration. Elusive Disc sent me an E with that LP back in stock a few days ago.2 points
