I can do some of that... like laying on the floor. LOL

my stretching isn't quite so vigorous. Just grabbing my elbows, while over my head, and twisting my back.

when I was a lot younger....

I used to participate in competitive swimming. We did some stretches that required an assistant...or more to the point - do it to you. I wouldn't think of doing that now or "back bridges"

The weather is once again unbearable , rain , rain , rain .... next week tuesday it should be nice again . In 2 weeks I start to work again until then I will still enjoy the free days. I also want to finally ride my bike around the lake again. Have the bike also already made clean, the brakes adjusted, the chain oiled. I wanted to have driven a long time ago, but who wants to drive in this bad weather. Let's see how it looks next week.

My wife ignored a critical design tip: “always get a larger thermostat than the last”.

The last device covered a multitude of sins: three sets of drywall anchors, and a hole larger than an Eisenhower dollar. (Hozzat fer a blast from de past). Some pre and post.

Advanced tip: if ya store yer pre-mixed plaster inna Arizona garage, it becomes a disposable commodity. Keep some dry plaster handy.
Some pre and in process photos, out of order for clarity.

It was a good day.

After church this morning I made some German(ish) potato salad and put a beef brisket on the BGE.

Then I went over to my buddies woodshop for a few hours where we sat and sipped a variety of bourbon for a few hours.

later after returning home I checked on the brisket.

ideally the brisket would have gone lower and slower but it still turned out pretty good.

It was also my first time making a rub with coffee and the kids all agreed that it tasted great.

Just rolled out, saw this, and now I'm hungry again.  Winter again w/a high today of 42.  lol  Just turn up the heat anytime now.  Geez!  Coffee's great though.  :)

Here's a great lil road trip for ya this fall.  Get out the plastic.  Get your tickets early!  An amazing line-up once again.

Eric Clapton announced today the 6th installment of the Crossroads Guitar Festival. The festival, which has become legendary in its own right for hosting performances and impromptu collaborations from the world’s most renowned guitar players, will take place over two nights on September 23rd and 24th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. Clapton will gather the past, present and future of guitar music onto one stage for an unparalleled musical event. Tickets to the festival will go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. local via Ticketmaster. Please note that each day will be sold as its own ticket and there will not be 2-day passes.

Yep good beef has been hard to find for me also.

Heck a 4lb chicken costs as much as a good ribeye should!

I can braise that bottom round that my mother always cooked in the cast iron dutch oven. Boil it for the right time or do the pot roast... Heaven forbid I can not get it to where it pulls apart flakey like thick fried flounder did with a fork. I did it too a few times, last I could get it that tender was in the 90s.

WTF are the cows being fed lately?

soybeans?

That potato salad looks kind of plain... until you see how it's made!

I borrowed a professional pressure washer from my brother today. I will clean a bit around the house in the next 2 days. It´s a german " Wuerth " with 160 bar pressure, they´re better than the famous german " Kaercher "
