Hunting fishing it's all the same in the end, with any luck or the right bait.

That is my problem; the bait

Same lure I used, good thing it was catch and release for me with bait like that.

We had a bare branch stuck in a stand one year... put a few decorations on it. The kids liked it and it wasn't messy with pine needles everywhere.

Last year, our "tree" was a spiral of hard wire hung from the ceiling with lights and garland.

Gathered some firewood today. Didn't leave the property. Mesquite shed branches, like it or don't. And there was this dead pear tree.... long dead... before we moved here. Decided to drop it. .  It will burn. I'm just buying time. I have a cord coming.

Your stink-foot puts a hurt on my nose!
Stink-foot! Stink-foot! I ain't lyin'
Can you rinse it off, d'you suppose?"
Here Fido! Fido!
C'mere little puppy, bring the slippers
"Arf, arf, arf!" (crash-crumble-bump-bump-bump)
Heh heh heh... sick

Well then Fido got up off the floor an' he rolled over
An' he looked me straight in the eye
An' you know what he said?
"Once upon a time, somebody say to me"
(This is a dog talking now)
"What is your Conceptual Continuity?"
"Well, I told him right then"
(Fido said)
"It should be easy to see
The crux of the biscuit is the Apostrophe"
Well, you know the man who was talkin' to the dog
Looked at the dog an' he said: (sort of staring in disbelief)
"You can't say that!"
He said:
"It doesn't, and you can't!
I won't, and it don't!
IT hasn't, it isn't, it even ain't
And it shouldn't
It couldn't!"
He told me "No no no!"
I told him "Yes yes yes"!
I said: "I do it all the time;
Ain't this boogie a mess!"

I spent a week in China and Hong Kong a couple years ago.  Toward the end of the visit I was so tired of eating “bait” I was thrilled to see a McDonalds.  The Chinese we get in America is nothing like what was served in China and Hong Kong.  I much prefer American Chinese fare.

It goes with all cultures...anywhere you go...

What is made here in America...

Is some sort of lost  third rate food... That we have come accustomed too...

But I never had a Chinese women..

So I can't tell you how they taste..

But it all looks the same....

I say Mike...good job there. Meanwhile some Ouer Deurves please. Like my Vichysoisse room temp. Presentation of broth will be perfect.

Speaking of bait, saw a boat going out in the rain which got harder as watched. Maybe the brave soul turned about what with thunder rumbling.

Looking forward to some well hung venison when hunter should score sometime, maybe...:)

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Going to get a pine, cedar, and a bit of mistletoe, just in case. Will doll the place up with aromas anyway. So tired of artificial...

Bro had some local hunters around here that goat taste the same as sheep... A couple went with it...lol

No goat for me but...to each his own bb-q...

Tried some goat a few months back, along with lamb, they can keep both of them. The lamb chops were better than the goat but I already have enough animals I really like, not looking for anymore.
