All quiet in Duckburg.  "They" said it was 75 but the monsoons are hitting tonight, tomorrow and off and on the rest of the week w/temps back in the 50's or so.  Just wish it would hurry up and stabalize.

AAAHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!! wanna return to the rehab clinic 😂, I mean it was like making holidays there , three weeks vacation !

Full room cleaning service, laundry service, 3 meals a day like in an international hotel kitchen , swimming pools, waterbed hydraulic massages, mudd bathes, sporting centre and so on . I´m really missing that since I´m back home .

 

Now I have to take care of these things on my own again  . Okay ...I´m biking , my next public swimminghall isn´t that far away, I´m waiting for my confirmation for the sports excersise club´s time schedule , than I can start up there as well.

After the easter holidays I´ll start to play tabel tennis again, the trainee halls are closed till april 8th. Lot´s of papwerworks to manage in view to the upcoming possible retirement procedere. Will take up to six month till final decisions are done.

 

So it´s better that I shouldn´t complain, I´ll have to make the best out of it.

 

A bit of spring time feeling here today ..shall be 60 F in the afternoon and the sun is watching through the clouds as well.

C. is a perfectionist with his Slushies.  Good is close enough for me😆 We had that shoot out at the 2018 Pilgrimage.

Wellllllll, first front went thru Duckburg last night.  Rain out the ying yang.  Got outta bed at noon but I did eyeball the clock at 7:45 and said I'd roll out in a minute.  This is nuts.

 

I quit!  Might get coffee in the morning for once.

I recently watched my first series in its entirety - The Bridgentons. Who watched this series? I don't really like to watch something, I like to play more. Recently I found https://www.hybecasino.com/ and I devoted all my free time to poker and slots. It's cool to have a hobby from which you can get high and relax

@barbara Never heard of that series.  I just do my one night a week series  "The Curse of Oak Island" over on the History Channel.  lol  Now the World Series is a different thing depending on who's playing. 

 

Coffee's always good in here though.  Since you're new what brings you to the Forum?  Klipsch home theater systems, two channel stereo or?  A lot of good people are into a lot of different things in here.   Lots of good threads started with some busier than others.  Books, spinning vinyl, sharing youtube music vids, whatever you're looking for there's a thread somewhere.  Have fun, stop in here anytime and ask.  We were all newbies once upon a time.  Again, welcome.

Well, the forecast called for rain over this entire region up until after I saw it in the afternoon. Left early and did 90 something miles in two hours. It's five degrees cooler now that I've traveled west. So I get a 2-hour wait and then hopefully no more stones for a while.

So, Tuesday evening the wife and I stopped by the pharmacy to pick up her prescriptions. The pharmacist asked if I was ready for my second shingles vaccine shot. Plus I asked about the new covid shot. He said I could have both at the same time. Kicked my butt! Only a little bit of a sore arm from the shingles shot, same as the first, but I stayed in bed and slept ALL day and all night. I still feel like I could sleep some more, but I'm back to work.

@Marvel hope you're not getting what I have workin right now.  I FORCED myself to roll out this morning.  Otherwise, it would have been noon again I'm sure.  Past couple weeks it's been an insane sleep cycle for me.  Blah!  😂  Haven't had a shingles vac yet and prolly won't.  Might regret it but will see.

 

Where the heck is that @grasshopper anyway?  He must be gardening and livin in the shed.  Hope he didn't get locked in.

 

@Tarheel sooooo who bought lunch last week?  Ya stick @codewritinfool with the check or what?   😂

I've heard that about the second shingles vax.
