BigStewMan
hey travis @dwilawyer you're the only other beefheart fan that I know of on the forum. I just ran across this interview with Ry Cooder, who played with Beefheart once upon a time. I think it's funny and it is so Don. He was the nicest guy; but could be intimidating. Now, I knew him at the end of his music career so that is probably why I see him as a cool guy. The guy that I would bump into at the local 7-11 was not intimidating at all. But the stories ... oh man. I hope to meet you someday and share them with you.
BigStewMan
I can be a creature of habit, but I'm cool with that. I tend to end my late night musical sessions with this gem ... one of the most beautiful performances out there.

Marvel
Some friends I used to record with also did some shows with Bob Bennett. Wonderful voice and lyricist. It's not Christmas music but you'll get the idea.

JohnJ
Hope that's just a caption, definitely hesitation there. If not Brandt-Daroff is the answer maybe.

JohnJ
I had vertigo bad a few years ago. For a painter that has roped together two 24's in the basket of a fifty foot lift & walked on parapet walls it was a misery to lose control and have to grab anything around me then close my eyes to make it a little bit better. Wouldn't even drive anywhere for a while. Got it after a bad case of bronchitis then a couple rocephin shots that hurt exponentially worse than a tetanus one. Did those funny exercises for a few months and years later (15 yrs) I have not had it in a long time. Something had messed with my inner ear obviously! 1
