This thread made me want to hear more of my stock ST-70. So moved it into a room by itself with a pair of RF-3 II’s and using an iFi DAC have been really enjoying the sound. The ST-70 was my first tube amp and I still like it. It is running RCA 7199’s and SED EL34’s and have not heard this amp with Mullard EL34’s so there’s that. Any way hope all are enjoying their systems.

Lovable, obedient, protective and strong willed. Dalmatians need acres to run around, the two above need attention, plus running space. I've had all of the above for the short and long hauls!

1988 Elektra reissue Exceptional sound on this Elektra reissue. Defined, rich with supreme clarity and smooth delivery. Super punchy, realistic drums you can feel and beautiful midrange tones make the guitar work really cut through. Vocals are lush and intimate and the bass is profound. I’m very impressed with the sound on this 80s reissue. Quite a stellar pressing, no flaws to speak of. I definitely recommend this pressing. Do not get bookshelves with a horn and put them 3" from your head, it will suck in all kinds of different ways. Get the RP-502S II or if you want it to be the most correct for Atmos with direct radiating monopole speakers, get the RP-500SA II and run it in surround mode.

Not certain that anymore speakers are needed with this answer. You may want more yet, you are covered. Although you are rich in Adcom watts, not needed with these efficient speakers. Saying this, do watt you like and want. Alright now...

Fwiw, I don't think this is true. Regardless, I'm not sure what model our Bosch is but it accommodates our dishes, bowls, and everything but our pilsner glasses and we live in Texas. 😊

I can imagine no situations where a rear surround speaker would need anything close to 200 watts in a home or even theater setup.

Trust me, you’re not going to be using anywhere near 200 watts with speakers inches from your head.

Ours gave up the ghost a month ago and we have been doing them by hand. Nice timing for this thread as we are looking at a new one as well. I can pretty much guaranty my wife wouldn't consider letting me get this model. Probably going to be LG or Samsung.

The HII seems brighter to me than the HI, but consider the evolution of amps from analog to digital. At the same time the music of the HII years tends to be bright. All that synth pop…. 😉

Great Brand, but there is an issue. Please take one of your plates and wine glasses and put them in the dish washer. Why, European dishes and glasses are smaller than US and it can be an issue for everyday use
