I read this too fast and thought you wrote snark instead of snake LOL. I sent my brother pictures of the gathering last night and he wants to go next year and bring his travel trailer. That would remedy everything.5 points

Morning gang Took a walk 3am, noticed the lights on at the mom and pop cafe, banged on the back door and the cook was there prepping for the day, ask him if i could go back to mt RV and fetch my laptop, come back here and drink coffee and surf, he said No problem Been awile since i made coffee in a Bunn machine. They open at 6, however he is making my breakfast now wife is still sleeping. All that is left in Hanger #1 is my plane, fresh annual, fully fueled and ready for the Reno trip, maybe one more day loading the one of the trucks and he is leaving for Reno, two days projected to load second and be done with this airpark after 46 years! Sold the first hanger (big one) back in Dec with a 90 day move out clause, the owner seemed like a nice gent, by the end of Jan he had his lawyer contacting me to get the hell out! dam. hate being rushed. I have a feeling the guy feels a little fleeced/pizzed, appraised at 1.6 sold for 1.2, and im smiling. Im learning any day without Snake contact is a good day. wife is now packing the 44 w/snake shot. Looking forward to my first drink in a over a month,(next week) wife says it will be the good stuff5 points

Our photo guy - Philly D - updated the on-white product photography in all finishes, grilles on/off and multiple angles for the Klipschorn, La Scala, Cornwall and Heresy. It's a lot harder than one would think and truly a monumental task. The photos look freakin' great. Check them out: Klipschorn La Scala Cornwall Heresy4 points

Just got my Cornwalls out of the closet, with some help from my buddy. His first impression was, $@ these are big. 45 mins later I had my new/ used tweeters installed. Hooked em up to my carver amp, and turned em on. Dans first impression, $@ these are loud. Ran downstate the next night an picked up a pair of herseys, hooked them up and, well, you know the rest. Glad to be back into the music again3 points

Just wanted to throw this out there, but I'm sure that most noticed who drove from the North (and probably other directions as well), that there were multiple signs on the highway announcing that the major construction jobs would begin April 15....Obviously there were already some in progress, but I'm thinking it would be a good idea to keep the dates for next year about the same time or a little earlier...Certainly looking forward to it again.3 points

I think he got permission from Amy when she worked at Klipsch to make this batch "not for profit" but marketing them for sale would have copyright issues. They are beautiful in person as well. As of this moment my permission to use this HAS NOT been revoked!3 points

Then the "Official" Tour and "Unofficial" Poking around commenced. We found these really cute computer speakers for the conference room. The official Stencil Department showing off some prototypes. The entrance to Narnia. I can hear your brain in here. I know just what I'm gonna do with this... 3 Stooges resurface in Hope.... History repeats itself repeats itself repeats itself3 points

Fortunately, I met several of the reenactors. Interesting, good guys. One was from an old stomping ground of mine. We had a much larger block of rooms reserved than we needed, although I hope we grow next year. Those who have been in Hope during summertime will surely suggest gathering in spring. The second weekend in April is OK with me, even though I have to take a day off. Also remember that the date must be approved by Donna at Klipsch (She retires in December, so there's another step involved there.). SSH2 points

I read this too fast and thought you wrote snark instead of snake LOL. I sent my brother pictures of the gathering last night and he wants to go next year and bring his travel trailer. That would remedy everything. I rented a Class "A" only because we were to be in this thing for two weeks, nice, pricey, and has a Jamo surround system.2 points

Now they need the 'Klipsch Heritage'. It should be based on an 'Old Fashioned'. Perhaps they could use the Rock Town Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey as the spirit. If they want to keep it traditional, they could use the 'Rock Town Rye Whiskey', also made in Arkansas. It could be sweetened with 'Arkansas Honey'.2 points

I want to also thank Jim Hunter for taking the time to give tours at the Klipsch Museum..!!! He was telling me they are bringing PWK's archives back to Hope and showed me two rooms full of paperwork and other things. Thanks Jim for spending time talking with me and especially about PWK and Richard Heyser. miketn2 points

I've decided to sell my uber rare Star Wars Limited Collectors Edition Promedia 2.1 speakers. These speakers were previously owned and used by George Lucas himself during the filming of Episode III Revenge of the Sith. This was a very limited production with only 1000 units made. The speakers cabinets are made from grey plutonium obtained from the planet Naboo. The blue power light on the front of the main control pod is made from plasma (the same material the lightsaber blade is made from). From a design standpoint, they are light years ahead of anything out on the market today. The sound emitted from the Star Wars Edition Promedia 2.1 is absolutely stellar and quite frankly out of this world. These are truly upper audiophile quality and make the Jubilees sound like a BOSE Wave Radio. I don't want to have to deal with Paypal fees so Western Union is my preferred method of payment. If shipping is needed, I would recommend using a Pod Racer since it should get there the same day it ships. Priced to sell at $49,624.13. These probably won't last through the weekend so may the force be with you.1 point

Some(very few) AVR's have two or more power supplies, one for the front three channels and one for the side and rear surrounds. In that case, there "may" be a benefit to "bi amping" the main speakers with the rear surround channels. Most AVR's are built with only one power supply with all channels sharing a single transformer and usually no more than two power caps. In that case, "adding" rear channel power most likely will not add an audible benefit to your front speakers. Bill1 point

If you haven't already seen it, watch the Muscle Shoals documentary. It's available on Netflix and probably other places also. Percy Sledge is featured in that excellent documentary. It's a sad day in Muscle Shoals , Alabama, and elsewhere in the music world. RIP Percy Sledge.1 point
