  1. Evening gang... Didn't have a chance to post all day...All kinds of crapp going on....there's always crapp going on..... Anyway made it through another Monday.... Were taking tomorrow off and going to China town in Philly.... Gonna get some good eats and a hair cut... As soon as the grandkids are on the bus me and The BOSS will heading North... I'll get The BOSS to post some pics of the day.... Carl..... the Tundra.... you can keep it.... I have to work on my dads......he's got an 03....I don't like working on those things...but I'll do what I have to do... and some of those times on Alldata are nuts.... I tell ya man I got my own times... for the most part I know how long things take to do... Now if I get a job in that I haven't done I'll call some of my buds and ask and if they don't know I'll double the time that Alldata says... I'm very fair with people and I will tell em "if I do it in less time I won't charge you as much" and ya know as much gravy as I suck up I gotta get a few lumps now and then... Jason.... get your butt to the hot doc and get your shitt taken care of my man... maybe she'll have you cough The guy that's hauling his pet on the flatbed.... he's real smart..... NOT..... what a ******.... Hey I got an old sewing machine... it's really cool, I don't use it but I got it........I got it at a yard sale many years ago.... I was so cool I just had to have it... and it was only $10.. OK I should get some sleep that drive to Philly sucks. and in Philly they drive like nuts.... there crazy...... last year we were in South Philly driving these back streets. Some guy behind me was getting all pissed off cuz I was stopping at the stop sings....every block was a stop sing... so I would stop to make sure nobody was coming... well this guy was going off... yelling hitting his steering wheel going crazy.... I said to The BOSS and my friends in the car.. "look at this guy behind us".... so for a few more blocks I would just stop and do my thing watching him.... At one stop sing I told The BOSS......."watch this" ..... we got to the next stop sing and I just sat there... I could see him in my mirror he was going crazy.... he could see me ..... so I pointed at him and started laughing at him.....OMG he went ballistic... out the car he came.... Oh he was a big boy and I think he wanted to kill me ..... The BOSS is now saying WTF...... So I did a cool move that I know from self defense training....... I drove away lol lol .... Yea there nuts in South Philly... Later..... MKP :-)

  2. Good idea, you and the boss have a good day and take a break. I know what I would be looking to eat, a cheesesteak, never had the real thing and they look good.

  6. Morning Gents. Cool and sunny here. Sprinklers woke me at 7:00 and the air is so fresh afterwards when I walk the Jakester. Bought a self propelled leaf blower.....the commercial type at a garage sale Saturday. Looks almost new...a MDT. Paid $75 though I'm sure it retailed for near a grand. Will have to wait till winter again to blow some leaves which is ok with me. Bought it from the widow of a class mate who passed away from cancer. She still has a nice generator and a 3200psi pressure washer she has to get rid of by Sunday.....her moving day. Going back to buy some shelving units for my tool shed. Speaking of sheds I cleaned it out yesterday with a helper. Gave him a truckload of stuff I haven't used in years and threw away a lot more. I'm terrible about putting tools back in there place so shed maintenance is a yearly activity No snakes in the shed About 9 years ago when I was doing my music room addition the shed was being used for workers tools. A worker went in to see a tail slither to the back of the shed. He caught it.....about a 2.5 ft. Copperhead. He took it home with him in a clear nail container Well enough about me....what are you guys up to? Or as my late wife use to say "that's enough talk about you let's talk about me". Bless her heart Cheers Ladies and Gents

  10. Going to make an appointment to see my regular doctor tomorrow. She is pretty hot too. Seemed better yesterday and no issues at all today, fingers crossed. One last cup of coffee brewing for tonight, probably watch a bit of TV and take it easy the rest of the evening.

  14. Back when we migrated to this version of the forums, I had started a "Klipsch Dark" theme. I never got around to finishing it. We'll be (gulp) upgrading the forums to the latest version of IP.Board probably late this year, which brings about all kinds of fun changes, and I think we'll have a dark theme ready by then. I'll make it a point to have it. Thanks

  20. Chad, I know that there are always many things to do on the forum, but I have one request if it isn't too difficult: adding one more screen layout theme that can be used having dark or black background with white text. I'm of course assuming that a new theme can be edited and added to the library of the present three user-selectable themes. When projecting the forum on the flat TV screen while playing foobar2000 in the background on the main setup and browsing the forum in the foreground, at night the white background on the front screen can be really overpowering and glaring for my WAF and myself. I do like the copper/bronze theme highlights with the white accents of the main Klipsch website pages, if that means anything. Thanks for your efforts on this forum: you got at least one that really appreciates the work that you do. Chris

  24. Depending on where it is and what it's draining into, a low spot or a real drain line he may want to do something a little different. I hate drain lines like that, they get clogged with leaves and other junk, if it just drains to another part of the yard to run off I much prefer just a small swail, a ditch with slow sloping sides that can be mowed but naturally flows water. It just depends where it's at and where it goes. Edit; Now this is a really big one but I needed it to drain alot of water and had plenty of space there, it can not clog.

  25. Nope, if you get any clearance at all it will be temporary at best. Hate to say it but if it is roots they will grow back in just a few months, how long is the drain line ?

  26. My brother has this problem. He bought a motor powered snake and has to revisit the job about once a year.

  27. If the tree is dead and not extending it's roots is about the only way that rooter works, even then the drainage pipe is compromised. Most just do it right and replace it once and be done with it.

  28. We have two TVs in the house, one in the basement (which will be the movie/bar room) and one in the main living room. We mainly watch tv on the one in the main living room. So only being able to watch it on one tv gives more family time. Anyways, I started sling with a free trial playing from my computer to the receiver. That wasn't working, so I picked up a Google Chromcast. I had my wife set it up, as she would be the one using it mostly. I only watch one TV show, The Walking Dead. My wife watches that and CNN. So we tested out the Chromecast Sunday night and things were glitchey, so we switched back to the cable for the evening. I don't know if it was do to having her stream it from her phone. So next week we will try another device. As it seems we have to stream Sling from some sort of device to the Chromecast. Now my wife does like Sling for CNN on her phone at work, and wherever else she might be. I am not fully convinced, if it works next weekend then I will be. It may be that I need a dedicated device to play Sling from.

  29. We are actually doing that very thing, oddly enough. It won't be a completely huge change, but we will be making it a little easier to navigate around a long product page sometime soon. I like websites to evolve. To me, it's never "done", and I like the idea of iteration.

  32. Thanks for the PM my good man. You are in for a treat. I spent some time finding good audio options for when your receiver arrives and you get setup. PM so I can share some insight. SO MANY CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  33. After almost 3 months of waiting they're finally here. I'm absolutely terrified and happy with the size of these beasts. Still waiting for the receiver being cleared at customs (stupid Egyptian customs). Will be setting up very soon. Couldn't be happier for purchasing these speakers

  36. The horn in the black box, is a P. Audio PH4525/P. Audio BMD750 and the two that do not have boxes are PRV WG45-50 with the EV DH1A driver. They sound ok, but need some equing. I noticed that some have had good luck with the P. Audio horn. However I was looking for something without a diffraction slot. That is when I stumbled upon the PRV.

  37. Its really an excellent quality Cheddar Cheese. As good as the best Cheddar's from the UK, Wisconsin or Oregon. At $22/30 oz can its a steal and will last forever aging slowly in the can until open. Totally agree with the quality!! My wife went to WSU, as well as many friends and other family, so I've enjoyed this great cheese for quite a number of years.

  38. Yep. The manifold to converter pipe is the nut I broke my socket on. We ended up heating each one with a torch to get them off. After my deep socket broke I had to snap the ends of the studs off so I could get my shallow socket on the nuts as well. a lift and air tools probably would have cut a couple hours off the job. All Data only pays 1.2 hours per side. How bad could it be? (I said to myself).

  39. Stress test, that is what i had. Doctor says my heart is in great shape but I'm not so sure. I smoke as well, roll my own in fact. Going to follow up with my doc next week and hope to get more information of what the issue could be. Jason, highly recommend you see another doctor....I've had these issues for years, so I have lots of experience with the symptoms, tests, etc. Jaw tightness, chest tightness, shortness of breath is very typical of a blocked blood flow in or near the heart. Don't mess around with this, or put it off.

  43. Happy Monday, you all are hilarious! It was fun catching up! Jason, hope things aren't serious. After a mostly snow free winter, 10 inches on Saturday. Warmed to 45 yesterday - supposed to hit the 50's this week so for now.., soup. The Stars lined up this weekend when my family was gone more than two hours and watched the latest mission impossible movie with the volume way up. :-) I was pleasantly surprised, my low expectations served me well! Have a great week!

  44. I can't even like on that. How incredibly sad. My nanny "grandmother" was a very religious woman. She saw to it that we attended church regularly, regardless of my mother and father's lifestyle. I once got a Bible with my name engraved on it for attending church every Sunday for a year straight while living with my grandmother.
