  9. Those $2700 and up prices are the reason I'm building clone Belle's. Already have 2 sheets of 4 x 8 Baltic birch and a new pair of K-33's. Now for the heat to calm down to start on the cabinets.

Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk Not even 2 months old, our youngest daughter is your age, now I'm really feeling old. You only have 6 years but I would think the previous 10 years should count for something, that is one long test drive.

  12. The Belle's exceeded my expectations with regards to jazz. This is what I mainly listen too. As for bass that's very music dependent and have found it's very adequate for me. If I had to give a grade on the bass I'd give it a solid B.Throw on a good jazz trio with cello mixed in, a glass of port and call it a night. Sweet music from a pair of great speakers.

  17. Pssst, dude got any okra plants for sale ? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2014/10/06/heavily-armed-drug-cops-raid-retirees-garden-seize-okra-plants/?tid=hybrid_experimentrandom_2_na Georgia police raided a retired Atlanta man's garden last Wednesday after a helicopter crew with the Governor's Task Force for Drug Suppression spotted suspicious-looking plants on the man's property. A heavily-armed K9 unit arrived and discovered that the plants were, in fact, okra bushes. The officers eventually apologized and left, but they took some of the suspicious okra leaves with them for analysis. Georgia state patrol told WSB-TV in Atlanta that "we've not been able to identify it as of yet. But it did have quite a number of characteristics that were similar to a cannabis plant." Indeed! Like cannabis, okra is green and it has leaves.

  24. Everything in the cabinet is susceptible to damage. Woofer motor busting off the basket, cracked horn lens, multi layer crossover ( if applicable ). Best to remove and wrap the components in a well padded double box for safe shipping.

  25. The only concern is comb filtering which depends on how high the crossover is between the woofer and the squawker.

  27. Your estimate is a bit off. It t would take 44 of the 252 HP Accord V6 engines to make the 11,000 HP of that car. It would take 13 of the 850 HP NASCAR engines. Steven St. Croix said it best; something to the effect of, "Yes, today's cars really are faster [than the old muscle cars]. But they have absolutely no soul." Yes, but they also have better brakes.

  34. I did it but honestly i don t like the sound with Audyssey flat or reference because there are not hights, the sounds are too flat on my opinion so i decided to change something and i prefere it but i dont really know if i did well.... Take a look please If you are boosting the highs, there is a possibility you are like a lot of us. As you age, you lose hearing at very high frequencies. If Audyssey measured it and it didn't sound bright enough then it is possible that your ears are the culprit. That's fine, but if you have young people over, ask them if they think the highs are too much. If you don't, they may just leave because they are in pain and you won't have a clue why.

  37. Rave, I think the newer Marantz, Denon and Pioneer lines have been reviewed as competant offerings.I used to be a fan of Yamaha but nowadays they seem to have too many bells and whistles, at least for me Then again I would never use Atmos either... Seven speakers is probably overkill in most situations. Check out http://www.accessories4less.com/ for some nice deals. You can get even better pricing on the factory refreshed, demos and scratch n dent.

  38. Man, look at all the gadgets, connectors and doo-dads on the back of that thing. Impressive! I think sometimes we just take for granted the incredible amount of sophistication built into those high end AVR's. I know a lot of people like separates, but you get pro-level setup and features in a single unit that a regular user can setup himself. I used to have separates and sold all that stuff in favor of an AVR. I'll never go back.

  39. They hold up extremely well. I, for one, prefer the RF-35 over the succeeding RF-82 and the following RF-82ii. I don't feel like you would be gaining a single thing by buying a newer used model. The RF-35s are fantastic and very underrated!

  45. I was too late, missed my shot. From what I hear Alex can't even get one to send out for more photographs for marketing, etc. The good news is I heard that you will be able to get the turntable mats very, very soon. The anticipated cost is $450 per mat and it comes with a free turntable. Travis
