It is an old project I started a few years ago and never completed. While I was putting the finish on the speakers, I decided to pull it out and finish it too. The plinth is made out of paperstone. The base is made from one inch solid marblewood. It will have two arms and be fitted with the mechanicals from a Fairchild 412.4 points

@DizRotus I've had 3 close friends build their own DN, and most if not all the parts necessary can be obtained from Sarns Hardware. Mine is an Arrow, a traditional fiberglass layup boat designed by Skip Boston of Boston Sails. He was known to be a large man which explains the 34 inch wide cockpit of the boat. It was intended to be a 1 person vessel, and is quite roomy as such. It WILL accommodate 2 adults, but anything other than an adult and teenager (or less) is a bit cramped. Thanks for sharing. Funny - original cost is listed as $1095. I'm now into mine, with the trailer and new sail for only, about, 3X that.1 point

Nice. I wonder if they have turndown service? Looks more like a setting for an episode of "River Monsters"1 point

Just got an analog modular synthesizer. (I've wanted one ever since I first played one back in 1971.) It's a beautiful, extremely well-made instrument built in Texas by Synthesizers.com, and it sounds absolutely wonderful! BEST.TOY.EVER! P.S. You can just barely see the tops of my Cornwall studio monitors peeking over the tops of the synthesizer cabinets.1 point

He was, and had a few run ins with some folks here. He has designed some other cabinets and received patents. He has sent me the plans for a couple of different designs. soniphase.com Bruce1 point
