  3. This next album is a double and the only twin LP the Fab4 released Beatles travelled to Rishikesh in northern India to take part in a Transcendental Meditation training course at the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. I believe this album was written after that stint in India And this is also the last of my Mono Fab4 records in the collection The rest that follow will be in stereo Artist - The Beatles Title - White Album ( as it’s known ) Album ID - https://www.discogs.com/The-Beatles-The-Beatles/release/4546697

  9. They look and test drive great according to the press. They are quite reliable once you get them sorted out, lol, by then you are hooked. My 91 sedan turned out to have fewer quirks than my 88 325i sedan.

  16. ..and I haven't played this record from MMEB for a very long time. It was the last production as MMEB. Manfred Mann had disbanded the band at the end of 1978, but had already started recording this album. For the new formation several line-up changes were made. Ex-Wings drummer Geoff Britton replaced the founding drummer Chris Slade and Steve Waller replaced guitarist Dave Flett. Britton left the band soon after due to illness and was replaced by John Lingwood. With this line-up, the album is, with the exception of Manfred Mann himself, the first album without other founding members. On the back of the album cover, Manfred Mann informs the fans that the album is the last one of Chris Thompson with the band, as he will form his own band Night. Thompson, on the other hand, was available for recordings and live performances with the Earth Band until well into the 2000s and appears on all other Earth Band albums, with the exception of the 1987 album Masque, as well as on the 2006 album, which was released under the name Manfred Mann '06 in 2004 regardless of the title, and on the 2014 Manfred Mann album Lone Arranger

  17. Thanks for asking.Yes I´m feeling much better again, but must take strong medication every day. On 01 / 05 / 2021 I have to go for another week for examinations into the hospital again. But until then there is still time. Only the death of my father 3 weeks ago is not yet overcome. I think of him very often and visit his grave almost daily.

  23. Record cleaning by hand I´m a carefully driver but sometimes I discover records that are quite dirty. Since I am neither a record cleaning machine with fluids I have owned an ultrasonic record machine and have been doing it my way for years. For this I need the following tools : 1 cotton towel, 1 roll of soft absorbent paper towels,1 bottle of glass cleaner (e.g. for the windows of windows or cars with less than 5 % anionic tensides and ethyl alcohol) 1 soft sponge ( without the bob LOL ) and a microfiber tissue with nano particles. Oh ...and a delicious Latte Machiato is also part of it . First I put the record on the cotton towel and spray it with the glass cleaner, then I distribute the liquid evenly with the sponge, let it work for about 2 minutes. Once this is done, I remove the liquid with the soft paper towel and let the record dry a little. Finally I go with the micro fiber cloth circularly and with some pressure over the surface of the record. I have no comparable knowledge about the effectiveness of record cleaning with a machine, but I have found that the efficiency of this application achieves very good results. Plates that crackled before no longer crackle. Even if I remove dust with the carbon brush when I put a plate on the table, I notice that the frictional resistance on the surface has been reduced considerably. This is also beneficial for the pick-up when scanning the record.

  24. That's the same one that made it into a pic a couple years ago here. Now? Plastic with deficit spending abilities. Allstate? As a whole, a very good company and policies. Like anywhere now-a-days you have to finagle correctly when making adjustments. Due to being flat-out lied to by an entity I consider hostile now, I had to wrangle a new method of maintaining the home insurance policy that was opened in Oct of `65. It had been due in full this week but I managed to reduce the 11% interest impact on a c card by spreading it out. SS only goes so far and I've rehashed my budget several times since the summer. "Like butter scraped over too much bread." *Bilbo Baggins That was my frustration this week, getting that allowed by headquarters after getting the long tenured lady at their local office enlisted on my behalf! That plus the freakin' leaves, laundry that did not stop occurring yet, missing my immuno & hypertension Rx Thurs am, past couple days have been uncomfortable. On the bright side I have one more grilled brat left with my browned kraut / onion mix for the game today, must have eaten five since Thurs evening!

  28. Wow! Soooooo good and just kept getting better. Loved ALL his movies and never missed seeing any. He was also quite the golfer and a Captain's Club board member @ Muirfield Village Golf Club in Cbus, OH. Naturally a friend of Jack's so joined the Club. Shot him one day for the course in a Pro-am and he was actually a lot better than I thought he'd be. Talked with him briefly after the round and asked him if he knew the woman who walked the entire course on the cart path wearing high heels! He laffed and said there's always ONE dumb one. Got a great laff out of that one. Wish I had my negs scanned had a great shot of him behind a tree. ha Recovered well though! I expected no less though. Bond, the name's Bond, James Bond. RIP Sir!

  41. Harb's IS waaaaay over paid but he was looking forward to retirement! when he signed that contract. blue bought the farm offering him that kind of money. He doesn't produce this year he's gone. Nice win today @DizRotus. @JohnJ does Clemson HAVE another QB? lol You'll be fine either way though. A win is a win but 34-28 from a Natty team? Sad to hear that about Trevor. Covid is gonna take anyone out it can though. OSU is covered up big time. Left for Happy Valley in an aircraft that had been disinfected 4 times yesterday. Going to crawl into my bubble now and watch some more ball. Should be interesting this evening. ALWAYS a game w/Penn State!
