  1. Impressive for their compact size.
  2. That pair of Chorus II look to be in nice condition.
  3. The answer to your main question is yes, and your second choice is also a good one, but you might consider expanding your search to include other units that have a better connection for your iPod, such as USB input, or Air Play if wireless convenience is important.
  4. Chris, If I may quote you here, "Whenever you use higher order (steeper) crossover filters, the time delay for the higher frequency channel has to be increased by 1/4 wavelength for every order of filter used (i.e., 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 dB/octave filters each need, respectively, 0, -1/4 wavelength, -1/2 wavelength, --3/4 wavelength, -1 wavelength) in addition to the delay needs to physically align the acoustic center of the drivers." So, if I change a crossover slope, then I need to re-calibrate the time delay between the affected drivers? That would explain why my time delay settings are not consistent with the physical lengths. This is very helpful to my understanding of time delay settings.
  5. Please let us know how those sound on your big horns.
  6. I have several hundred pounds of Roxul installed in my home theater as 24 X 24 X 48 bass traps. It works. The mineral wool batts are fairly easy to cut with a long serrated blade knife if you need to make smaller shapes. Other sound absorption or diffusion products have their purposes. The SoundPly micro-perf panels are a very interesting design. https://www.soundply.com/rf-series/ I first learned about them a few months ago, while I was researching pre-finished wood veneer wall panels. I have not seen or heard any SoundPly yet, and imagine they are pricey, but hope to see an installation in a fancy concert hall somewhere.
  7. Those should be classified as Upper Class D.
  8. Congrats on your new parts. Nice project you are working on.
  9. @McBlueMeter, Here is a picture you might like.
  10. I bought these 11 years ago from the first owner who ordered them as Oak Raw, unfinished, then he applied walnut stain and lacquer.
  11. You are an inspiration to other Klipsch fans.
  12. The Klipschorn style B has two more layers of wood (than style C) between the bass bin and the top section, giving it the appearance of having a collar.
  13. This is a good deal. Wish I had plans for a speaker project to use these woofers.
  14. I could not find an upper limit spec, but the KPT-1515 LF is a modern version of the MWM bass bin, which at one time had a published 500 Hz, 18 db/oct. crossover recommendation.
  15. The autonomous bartenders lack personality, but they are precise.
  16. REW measurements are taken at one meter from the loudspeaker being checked, but a separate RTA mic is hanging down from the ceiling, directly above the main listening position so I can observe the effects of the room.
  17. And your grill cloth project will make them look more domesticated.
  18. The copper accents are more attractive in person than in the pictures. IMHO
  19. Those subs on their website appear to be well made.
  20. Very cool looking home stereo speakers.
  21. Where can we view a comparison chart?
  22. A pair of Klipsch KW-120 with one KA-1000 amp is an excellent complement to a pair of Heresys.
