It sounds like that building has been allowed to freeze in the past. Good luck with chasing down the bad spots. Hard to beat good friends and eats though.

Exactly!

DAY 2. Plumbing on hold till Monday. Well kind of. Removed downstairs toilet repaired flooring and sub flooring in bathroom. Moving on to bedroom flooring/sub flooring in the bedroom and laundry room in the am.

Tonight's dinner cooked by Lonny Chesnut. Deer roast with potatoes, rice, fresh peas with bacon. Yea man. Work day over. Partying with regulars.

Mornin' guys. 2d cup on the way. Not a lot to report, just catching up on yard projects. Wound up with 5 contractor bags jammed with yard waste yesterday. Gotta get caught up after all the rain and then travel.

Steve .. hope you're feeling better. So far dental pain is the only pain resulting in my taking pain meds. Take care.

Later guys and cheers...............

Mornin' Gang,

Still early here, downing cup #3. I'm off today on a 3 to 4 hour drive to check out a cherry RSW-15. Sure hope its a nice as the guy claims. Looking for a twin to the one in the family room HT. Wish me good fortune.

Good Morning All,

Success! This second one is in really good condition. Turned out to be about 10 hours round trip, pit stops and talking with seller included. Thanks be to God for a safe and fruitful journey and return. I'll post pictures when I get it cleaned up and in the family room.

You guys aren't working on a cabin...you're building bridges!

The copper connector caper culminates in calamity.  Once swollen, crap.  As mentioned, the cabin really needs a shut off valve that will allow a gravity drain of the house to near the level where the pipes come up out of the lake.  Other than someone remembering to do it, pretty goof proof for preventing freeze ups.

The food sounds amazing.  How are the speakers sounding?  I'll bet that pool feels awesome after a mid-summer southern Arkansas day.  Few really know the absolute beauty of the back country and wetlands of the Arkansas delta, and most of them are more interested in the ducks.

Busy week ahead. Finally take car back in for oil change.

Mow the yard after picking up. (love that).

Maybe some cutting and stacking bush.

Get a new pair of glasses.

Thinking I can get more done while the cat is away.

Get some batch pad provisions fresh. Beer or 2.

Inside, finally time to do 5.1 or 7.1 setup with a monitor.

The 50 inch set is 100 lbs. approx. It is sitting on an old school large tv stand, crt bought

for purpose.

Yes, she looks at me thinking, he really does not know a clue. :emotion-29:

No original stand could find so just took a chance for tv set option with a Stance.

The pidgeon toed metal stand from amazon is minimal and sturdy

No wall penetration desired atm.

Want minimal, uncluttered and not fussy

Will take more than 1 day so, some fun running some wire for myself.

Want to hear the sr7500 through the Klipsch 5.1 RSX5 with RCX-4 Center.

The audio amplifier in the Panasonic set is like around 80 watts, or 40 wpc.

Have run the 5's since setting up the set. Marvelous...

Hook up the 5.5 to the set and listen for fun.

Looks like I have no time to do all I can.

Just do it,

Better eat some Wheaties then with coffee. :emotion-44:  :emotion-22:  :emotion-44:  :emotion-44::emotion-19:  :emotion-45:
