Just to get them out of the house and to have something different to do. There mother our middle daughter is a teacher and working from home. They have been fishing and playing in the yard and kind of driving me crazy but they needed a break from doing nothing at home. Had a friend over for a few days from out of town until yesterday and had a good time cooking/eating and mostly doing nothing, that was really nice, and we fished a little also, caught a bunch of small bass in the yard. To me it's just like celebrities, I could care less who you like or your opinions, they are worth no more than mine and your not going to change mine. But some have to push there right, middle, left ideas and some can not help exposing there TDS, snowflake self, left or even socialist ideals and don't forget the far right. Your mom lied to you your not special, or better than anyone else, get over it. JohnJ Posted May 4, 2020 Share Posted May 4, 2020 When that Behr first came out I was painting 60 hrs a week. Reminded me of colorwheel in FL that I called waterwheel. Weak, very weak pigment and coverage. Behr came out with a very good 100% acrylic twenty years ago that I don't mind using at all. A pastel yellow (red & yellow are the weakest pigments) covered dirty walls in two coats and I was experienced then! After telling the guy he bought awful paint and not enough, that I would do three coats tops for that $. Yep....I rarely comment about being annoyed but I did once last week. He is fun to socialize with but the incessant political remarks are hard to take. They are funny, a few minutes ago the little one ran in saying hurry and come see something strange is going on. I hurry out there and his older brother is standing with his fishing pole and the line is snagged in a cypress and every time he pulled it there was a screeching noise coming from the tree. He was really worried and said I never heard anything like that before, he was scared. I walked round to the back of the tree and there was some kind of bird running up and down the branches making a loud screeching noise I think it might have had a nest in the tree and every time he pulled his line the bird would make noise. But, despite that young age, i remember having already been kicked out the house. My mom had this very tall, blue glass vase and it had a removable lid. She was rearranging furniture or something and i wanted to help so i decided that i’d move that vase (probably about three foot tall). I remember her telling me to remove the lid so it wouldn’t fall and break. Later to become a pattern in my life, i didn’t take her advice, i told her that it wouldn’t fall. Sure enough, it fell and broke and she was mad. She told me to go pack my clothes and leave. I think i gave her problems during the short time we were together. I remember having a pet Dove. Well, our house had a loft and i’m about six or seven and know that the bird can fly. So, i climb up to the loft, with the bird, grab it’s legs and jump off ... i honestly thought i was going to fly around the house with the bird. But, that poor bird just flapped its wings and crashed to the ground as hard as i did.
