Last week I was flying home from work travel and ended up in the middle seat between two other guys in their 50's. We started talking about family, grandkids, etc so inevitably age came up. It is cool when you wake up and realize that all parts are stil in working order, then give a hearty "thank you" and act just like you did at 59. I remember my neighbors at 60 when they were old, wrinkled, burned out, tired, arthritic.....but not us, well you get the point. Fairly soon, the government will want to send you a check each month for doing nothing, how cool is that? The Queen of England has been on the throne longer than you are old. Now the other side of the coin. You start asking yourself; 'what are my chances that I would break my hip if I fell?' 'is it normal that I'm making more trips to the bathroom than I used to?' 'my sex drive is the same as it was 20 years ago, isn't it? 'I keep misplacing my keys, should I be worried?' 'what is the best way to control my weight, Dr Oz, anybody?'
