They ask if there hot and I told them yes, just try a bite from the tip of the pepper. Funny thing-the tweeter that tested OK ws hooked up wrong (+ - ). The guy I got them from swears they have never been opened. Also both tweeters were "loose". I said "good luck with your sale" and went on my way. Yesterday I found another pair but they weren't in the same condition. But they were less than half the cost of the previous pair.
