Congratulations, good looking pup.

Also liking that J Maple in the background.

Thanks, nice "I spy" job on the JMap. Here is a better look in the early morning light.

It is one of our favorites.

Criterion collection

Especially happy about getting Bruce Lee's Greatest Hits on release day. Includes all 5 films w/4k restorations.  First time since 1993 laserdisk the 99 minute original theatrical version of Enter the Dragon has been seen on home video with original soundtrack.

I got a pair of Forte I, I think. The first two digits of the serial numbers are 88, and the radiator is 12".

They are in nearly perfect condition. The dust caps on the radiators are dimpled. Other than that, I can't see anything different from a brand new pair. The original owner said that he bought them in Germany, while he was in the Air Force. They are a nice step up from my Tangent T30's (probably originally owned by a service member also).

I've been watching for several months, and at $500 I think got a pretty good deal.

I had to share on here. No one else appreciates how happy these make me.

Some more figs, about three pounds. With my wife home more, due to her hours being cut because of Covid, there will be some Newtons baked soon.

Though, I've been enjoying fresh canteloupe, bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, and (soon) watermelon.

@FatherForte  You just fire those puppies right on up there and enjoy!  @Jim Gregory Gotta love gas!  Let us know how they sound!  :)

Me?  I just picked up my lil chainsaw and it lives again!  @dtel Nope not cutting mine down either!  Limb split about 6 years ago but it's still looking good.  Now my great Covid thought of both tomato plants AND begonias in the long planter?  I don't think the dime store millionaires here in the hood appreciate them very much.  Perhaps their tune will change when I roll them down the drive to 'em when they're out walkin.  Now the crack on the corner of the planter?  Yea, I know just haven't done it yet!  Eh, who cares!  😂

I am enjoying very much. I've been listening to a lot of guitar, organ, and drums. They're fantastic. Just put on Dire Straits. I had a pair of La Scala's in college. I like the sound of these better than the sound I remember from them. It's been 20 years, so I might be fooling myself. I remember being disappointed with the bass, which was more important to me back then. It would be interesting to do an A/B with both. I've got the Fortes stacked with a pair of LSi 9's, and my sub is helping as well. This weekend I'll try the Fortes by themselves.
