Shiva Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Great gear. Listened to your speakers on youtube and they sounded great. I am wondering though if you had ever thought of wrapping your panels in a fabric that would blend into the walls. I think it would take your room up another notch. Quote
TasDom Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Looks fantastic Nezff! I wouldn't change a thing but I do see an acoustic transparent drop down screen and projector in your future![Y] 1 Quote

nezff Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Your room looks awesome Nezff. I bet it sounds amazing as well. Dual 18's. Man...talking about rocking the house. My only question is why the center channel is aimed at your ankles? Wouldn't it be best to have the horn aimed at your ears? It actually sounds great. I had it custom built to fit in this cabinet. I have though long and hard about that. I'm still kicking myself for not wiring up for that. Without actually tearing the ceiling out, there is not way to run the power, hdmi etc. in there. Foamed and sheetrocked. Quote
nezff Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I was trying to look into those eD Cinema speakers. All I found was the mains and it was a DIY...is this how they offer them? I can only imagine the sound level potential in that room Those were a custom job for me. I like towers so Alex accommodated me. Quote
alkemyst Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 not ideal but the wall board can be channeled in the future. I can't tell if you have a smooth wall finish or textured. Smooth would be easier to match in, textured walls can be harder to match depending on finish. I am not sure if 120/220V code allows it like low voltage does. Quote
derrickdj1 Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 One of the best HT setup! I just like the look of everything. 1 Quote
Tremors Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Have you considered running crown(?) moulding on each side at the ceiling to conceal the cords for the projector? There is some nice stuff out there that I feel would match your room very well with its clean lines. Then there would be a natural void behind it large enough to run multiple wires within. Pre drill a hole at 2-3 ft from the back wall, or wherever you want to mount the screen and let the cords pass through there. No need to touch the walls or ceiling. Just a thought. Quote
TasDom Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Have you considered running crown(?) moulding on each side at the ceiling to conceal the cords for the projector? Great option. One of my buddies installed beams in his theatre room to conceal some wires in lieu of tearing out his ceiling. Quote

Moderators dtel Posted June 3, 2012 Moderators Posted June 3, 2012 I just like the way that looks, you almost never see Belles used as a front 3, and don't know if anyone has used 5 before, very nice. [Y] Quote
Ohiopatriot Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 That is absolutely the baddest(good!) looking set up I have ever seen!! Those Belles are BEAUTIFUL!!! I bet your neighbors really enjoy listening!! lol And yes, I have thought about hanging the samsung--just have not got there yet. It does fine sitting atop the platform atop the Academy for now.
