i like tea. i like coffee. been off caffeine since June.

Morning gang, looks as if everyone is keeping busy. Good fall weather, we went from 90s to the 60s in one day typical mid-west weather I guess. Just finished second cup, with eggs, beans and rice and a left over taco. We love tacos here so much we had them Tuesday and last night. Getting ready to take Pierce to football practice, time to dig out the bib overalls. Sitting here talking to the wife, that it may be time to close up the camper. I heard snow may come early this year and I would hate to be unprepared. Last night I made an attempt to make a sliding shelf for my Dual 1019 in a server rack. I think my plan is a decent one, I just need to learn how to measure and cut better. I might give it another hack tonight after my yard chores, I have a bunch planned for the next couple of weeks, so I need to get to it. Got to run, I'll catch you folks later.

Morning Gang Seems the east is getting hammered again this year. Are you guys done taking all of our weather yet? We did have a slight "Misting" the other day, but we still have fires going, so no hope here. Coffee time, sending the wife and kid to Reno, nothing else planned. Fall day temps in the 80s tops, could party out at the farm, yes i could, hummmm........

Good evening all... Not much going on.... Yea Chuck we got the rain here also....chilly and wet for the past few days.... O.C. Maryland is flooded, it's a mess... Just one oil change this morning....then I jumped into shop cleaning mode.....jammed out all day with KP-362's...Carver pumping the watts to em.... Threw away all kinds of chitt today....just stuff I'll never use, but have been holding on to it....it's my OCD..... I save all kinds of stuff....."might need it one day".....trying to change my OCD ways... Wolfbane....my wife made some tea at the shop this afternoon.....some PG-tips...some real English tea...it was good for the chilly day. Got my heating oil tanks filled today.....that dugg into my pocket, I must say it was cheaper than last year.. That's about it....wishing all a great weekend... MKP :-)

Finished cleaning out small family room home theater...got rid of couch/ chair ...went out and bought a couple of recliners one for me one for the wife. Re-calibrated everything...sat down to watch Furious 7...said to myself.... MAN does this fricken sound nice I don't need to buy anything... Three days later some one I know asked me if I new anyone interested in a pair of Heresy II's.....great condition fair price....I think WTF Bought'em....using them for rears in small family room.... Do they have a pill for this??? Check new members of the family....

My good buddy from work just recently moved into a smaller place and didn't have room for his two channel rig anymore, I was late to claiming his speakers, but he gave this unit to me for free!

I drink hot tea like a proper Englishman. It warms you up when you are cold and cools you down when you're feeling over heated. As to coffee? Smells good but I never touch the stuff as just like tobacco its addictive and the caffiene is a psychoactive (the most widely used psychoactive drug).

8th or 9th straight day of rain.....going stir crazy....may have to start drinking and posting......again.

Do you run that all on your own, I know I have seen you there quite a bit. Good luck on the upgrade. I built the site in 2002 and maintain the server side software. I am an admin but I do not own the site. It belongs to my buddy David. Also, I do not moderate the forums. There are volunteers that handle that duty.

Dave, not bad -- interesting. I didn't start this thread to argue, just to answer some questions because my email box was filling up again. It's a never ending cycle, and it's just easier to do it this way. Like I said in the other thread, criticism doesn't bother me anymore. OTOH, personal attacks do -- and I think repeat offenders should be banned.

Cspackler, Welcome to the forum. If you can afford it, get the forte II's and use them in 2-channel and then get the matching RP-260F's to complete your Premiere HT setup. Of course sell the RF-52's to free up some $$$. Bill

I ran reference for a while (RF-7). A deal came along I could not pass up, a pair of Forte II's for $100. After hearing the sound of the Heritage, the 7's quickly went up for sale and I have never looked back. Those Forte's changed my taste! A Heritage man, from here on out...

Just finished Ultron and you were right Derrick, great bass. I kept the sub at -2 and listened to the whole movie at -8 and it was great. I still think there were some places that didn't necessarily sound right to me, but overall a much, much better experience than the movie theater I saw it in. I don't know if it dug deep, but it sounded good. Over all impressed.

Yep, mine too. I call him Manson (as in Charles & Helter Skelter) because he's caught a baby rabbit before, dragged it into the downstairs finished bathrrom shower with a full glass door. Poor rabbit was literally bouncing off the tile walls trying to escape whilest Manson guarded by the door. It was a bloodbath in there. Or the time he had yet another baby rabbit (different event). I walked into this same downstairs bathroom and the rabbit was decapitated and Manson was gnawing on the shoulder meat. Mice? pfffffffffffft, don't even mention the number of mice he brings in. (he has a flapper door at one of the windows so he can come/go as he pleases) Put a breakaway collar on him with a bell. That cut down a lot of the carnage. Seems the breakaway collar has broken away. We need to replace it as the carnage count is back up. Sometimes 2-3 mice per evening. His real name is Carrot Top. For the carnage, I call him Manson. If you see his profile, he looks like he has a double chin like Alfred Hitchcock. I'll sometimes call him Al. Meanwhile, he thinks he's a lap cat and lives to curl up in your lap and just look disgustingly cute. Then you wake up and the blood.....ohhhhhhhhhhh, the blood.....

I corresponded with him this morning. He lives about 15 minutes from where the shootings were.

just recently started to include a teaspoon of Cacao nibs ground up along with a tablespoon of Cocoa powder into my morning coffee. Tastes like medicine but it sure works and I get my caffeine hit for the whole day, I expect that the nibs will make for an improvement in health as they are the most powerful antioxidant known. Listening to Pink Floyd's newest recording Endless River on the latest version (just two days old, same as I sent to RMAF)of my latest interconnect design they show much improved bass weight and quality over any previous versions. You guys simply would not believe the bass I get from my modified H3 up on 22" four post stands. These have to be experienced to be appreciated. Come for a visit I will make you a cup of my cold brew coffee/mud and you can listen to your favorite CD's. Best regards Moray James.

You were offered multiple crazy good deals on the thx ultras you wanted but none were good enough. Now you want some other speakers and were made a great offer yet still not good enough for you.

It's not a pretty picture. Could be worse, could get pic's of Carl shaving away in the bathroom. After thinking about it the remodel pic's are about the only pic's of him in his bathroom I want to see. It's going to be nice when it's done and you are saving alot doing it yourself.
