Now that's a clean looking car, very nice, also probably the only electric Porsche 914 ever. Those are very cool but still not as good looking as the convertible.6 points

Oh no..... The kids hate the shop...... My son wants nothing to do with fixing cars. I talk to my son about vehicle maintenance and repairs and his eyes just glaze over MKP :-) Started young with my son helping me. By his junior year of high school, he helped me convert a Porsche 914 to an all electric car. His reward was using it his senior year of high school.5 points

Excellent Wardsweb! How fast is that 914? Those 914's set up correctly are lightning fast on autocross tracks.4 points

My kids could, they jam those things in everything when they were younger. Dvd player, vcr, you name it, it had a pop tart in it.Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk4 points

The 914 looks great. Immaculate detail work under the hood. I really like that hot rod black. Someone on here did theri KP201 (I think...) cabs with some Chem Flats black. I'm tempted to use it on the LS I'm working on. When I still had the Spitfire, I researched making it electric. It is such a light car to begin with, and there are a few folks who have done it, but I just didn't have the coin, tools or workshop space. Would have been fun, though. I'm sure your son got to show it off quite a few times. Bruce3 points

Acceleration is really good and has instant torque but all that weight hurts it for autocross.3 points

Well when lightning hit a huge (4 ft diameter) Oak tree 25 feet away from the house it did this: 1...scared the crap out of me 2...blew the bark off the first 30 feet of the tree 3...cut the tree from top to bottom (4 feet diameter ) with a cross pattern + but the tree was still standing 4...left several 1" thick black melted carbon something trails traveling from the tree base to the septic pipe 5...traveled along the pipe to the house about 25 feet and melted the aluminum siding 6...roached out every alarm sensor on that side of the house 7...roached out the burglar alarm main control board and control pad 8...roached out the Denon AVR 9...roached out the modem in the computer 10..roached out one of the upstairs telephones 11...blew up the well pump that was 88 feet down in the well 12..took down a spruce tree (1 foot diameter trunk) about 15 feet from the big oak that got hit 13..made me drop my donut and coffee 14..blew several circuit breakers in the 200 amp electric panel 15..the next door neighbors were standing outside in the rain watching this action JJK3 points

Probably should have been private but since 2B is here please post photos of amps while in your possession...you know the ones that show when you received them with the damage 2B and/or time stamped ones that show the condition when shipped. These were touted as 10/10 when offered by you.2 points

Here from the Internet is a photo of what I believe are actual "vertical" Cornwalls. When the cabinet are in landscape, so too are the mouths of the mid and tweeter. It is like I recall that there were left and right versions. Are those pie-slice trademarks? Not shown in the photo is the sticker on the back which had a L shaped diagram with arrows showing two "this end up" notations and arrows. When those are honored, the tweet and mid are higher (closer to ear level) and the woofer and vent are near the floor. When there is a grill this might not be obvious. I too doubt the craigslist box was made by Klipsch particularly because of the lack of a vent and orientation of the mid. The owner had the big furniture and had to fit of cavity, I'd think. I also don't know about the disk structure ( if that is what it is) at the throat of the mid. Edit: Here is another photo and it seems to show the vent at the far right. And now I'm not so sure there is a front vent in what I posted. But both these seem to show a K-600 rather than a K-1000. There is some chance the CL unit had the T vertical vent in the back at one time. I'm just trying to give an honest appraisal. http://www.madtomstudios.com/HomeTheater/Klipsch_vert_cornwall.htm WMcD2 points

It's not a real hard fix but after looking at the ad it says 10 out of 10, so it shouldn't be your problem to fix. Glad it was not destroyed as in being dropped or crushed in shipping, at first that's what I was thinking, this would have been much worse.2 points
