  1. Morning/Afternoon, A good hump day to all... Been a couple days since I checked in.... It's just nuts at the shop right now... The BOSS was not feeling all that good on the way in this morning. She hung out about 20 minutes and went home.. So I'll be holding the fort down .... Got a good job to keep me busy all day.... gonna put some good tunes on and jam all day... Check back later... MKP :-)

  4. Wise one you have there. I did a 10+ years stint, Sheriff, transfer to Metro Fire after 911. Waaay less stress. If i could do it again i would have gone Arson investigator.

  5. Happy hump day, on a day that will live in infamy. On Thursday I fly to DC to help my older son move back to Michigan. He decided police work is not what he wants to do with his life. My immediate reaction is relief that he will no longer be in the stressful position of instantaneously having to decide whether to shoot or be shot. At the same time, he is the type of thoughtful compassionate individual police forces need to displace the bullies with badges, and guns, that make it hard for good officers to serve and protect.

  6. Good news: Your QB lead all Running Backs & QBs in Rushing in the SEC. Also, he lead the SEC in Total Offense & Your Team Rec'd a Bowl bid to Sunny Florida. Tell me more. You sure? OK, you asked for it: Your team finished 5&7 and backed into the St. Petersburg Bowl, Never Heard of it, based on Academic Progress. Your kicker is challenged with Extra Points; don't even think about Field Goals. Your Defense thinks tackling is optional...

  13. Right on man. I’ve been off caffeine for a year and a half. developed an occasional heart rhythm problem, nothing serious at this time; but, when doctor mentioned that sometimes it is caused by caffeine (of which i’ve historically been a heavy caffeine consumer) i quit -- cold turkey. Still get the occasional weird heart beats so it most likely wasn’t caffeine causing it; but, i’ve stayed away from it.

  14. My boss keeled over this afternoon. Heard a big crash and then remembered 15 minutes prior he had said that he was “feeling weird today.” Decided I should go check and a co-worker was walking towards his office saying “are you alright?" He was just coming to; but, still out of it. Didn’t even realize that he’d passed out. Didn’t want us to call 911; but, someone (wisely) did anyway. They checked him out; but, he refused to take the ambulance to the hospital and insisted that one of his staff drive him instead. So, his second-in-command took him. Not sure what was wrong with him. hopefully nothing serious. Life is fragile ... tell me you love me before it's too late.

  19. I don't know if the Chorus II or Forte II would fix the issue you're having. Technically, the tractrix is smoother, but I've never had an issue with my fortes. The Chorus II is also brighter than the forte, which you may not like.

  20. Morning Gang 34 here an hour ago. Warming up for Rain later today. Coffee flowin, trying to talk some in the household to fetch me a Donut. MIG is working, been ordering replacement/upgrade parts everyday. Miller is Quality, even at 28 years old, 75% of the electronics look new. Running flux cored wire for welding, so NO Argon as of yet. @$90 Bucks to fill the cylinder, kind of want to replace all questionable parts first. Coffee and Anna's Ginger cookies. < in lieu of Donut.

  21. If you open a claim with PP, you should have your money back in a couple days.25% of 12K is 3K. Money's a little tight now with me being off work, if you could loan me 3K, I can get it back to you in 6 months with a 5% return Quit being a nice guy, if it overdraws his account, that's not your problem. What he's doing is robbing Peter to pay Paul. FILE THE CLAIM, F*CK 'EM Mark

  23. Being nice doesn't mean you should accept being out your money for an undisclosed period of time. Me? I wouldn't make a stink unless he can't reimburse in full and right now. Everything that has transpired has been his fault. Don't make him keeping the money your fault.

  33. Don't quote me but i think the Chorus and Chorus II when in production were replacements for the Cornwall. When i purchased my first set of Chorus II the Belle was still available for special order, its what i was told by the salesman anyways.

  39. Yeah I've had several pairs of each over the years and pretty much just looking for the Chorus I right now mainly because of my room set up. My only system is in my bedroom and its relatively a small and tight space. I do like the sound of the exponential mid horn at lower volumes, which is all I'm aloud due to neighbors and such plus the acoustics of the room are very good so high volumes aren't necessary. And its pretty much a must that the speakers butt up tight to the back wall to make them fit.

  41. Yes....Chorus II are very nice ...I own 2 pair....but pound for pound the Fort'e / Fort'e II are both great speakers. The Fort'e II's just seem to have a little more low end kick. G.E.M.

  43. We do what we can with what we are given - and it's pretty effective for what it is. Advertising is incredibly expensive. Some of our major competitors have insane advertising budgets. We tend to focus more on the engineering.

  44. Hey Jim, that's a pretty cool idea, I did enjoy that. I'm usually in a hurry in the morning, and messing with a coffee maker just doesn't sound like fun. I do spend a little time on a morning breakfast shake. I also don't need another $12 a day (Starsmucks) habit. I usually laugh at the 18 cars in line for coffee while I'm driving by. Thanks....if I start posting erratically and seem jittery just let me know so I can lower my caffeine input

  46. It all starts with the source and amplification. The Epics are very source sensitive.. A recap might not be a bad road to go also. I am betting the electrolytics are bad in the xovers... The CF-2's were the first Klipsch experience i had and i was blown away, i now have the 1st version CF-4's and will be aquiring a pair of the CF-2's at the end of this month, i am planning on recapping right away.
