My Thanksgiving Contribution to Cables lol... had to get all the lights pointing downward.... make's you thirsty... then sound alterations...

Texas sized Thanksgiving Breakfast for a regular guy.... 5 pieces of bacon.... o O (what a way to start off the day) … next came the "Woody Creek" …. followed by hanging up my Christmas lights.... used all new brass hooks too....

SNIP: That's un American.. oh yea I forgot you're Canadian And as such I am a North American; we have Turkey Day either on the 2nd Monday in every October or Christmas Day. 🍁

This refurbishment project has been mainly a summertime (3 years now!) project with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club... slow going, but little by little we've made progress. The Klipsch Audio Community has been wonderful with tons of good advice. Now that I'm "retired" I'll have a bit more time to volunteer on this endeavor. Recently we've been patching and sanding the cabinets in preparation of adding 1/4" mdf to the exterior prior to walnut veneer. I'm attaching some photos of the steps so far. Already secured all new (or had refurbished by Crites) innards.

The last bid was 500 for all three but was able to get a small discount once I saw them in person. There is some water damage especially on the Belle. There is one bad woofer in of the lot. Its dcr is good but sounds horrible. The rest of the drivers are ok. The crossovers are AK and an AB so they will need replaced. I'll post photos when I can.

#8 MSU is man-handling #17 UCLA. Unless Spartans collapse in second half, Chuck’s Tarheels won’t have the honor of facing MSU in the tournament final. UCLA vs UNC tomorrow at 4pm will be interesting. @Tarheel Texas vs MSU at 6:30 will be even more interesting. Right @Jeff Matthews?

We bought a Sleep Number bed about four years ago. (M7 I think?) It was pricey, I’m talking La Scala II money (probably more like Cornwall III retail money). However it was some of the best money we’ve ever spent. Four years and we still love it. There is a store in Charleston and a couple in Columbus. I’d recommend you give them a try. They have lots of options.

Since my name was mentioned I will give my 2 cents on musicians and audio equipment. The people I work with are all professional orchestra musicians. We all know intimately what the instruments sound like. No audio system, regardless of how good, can reproduce what we hear daily. Sit close to a 12 foot Steinway being played by a world class pianist. That cannot be reproduced electronically. Some of us however do chase having an audio system that can come as close as possible. Yes, budget plays a huge factor. Money for living and for your instrument comes first. However thanks to forum members like Claude and Chris I have been able to put together a first class system without going broke.
