All the ones that I’ve seen, here in Canada anyway, were “personal-size”, big enough to envelop a person but not a car. When I was a teen, I saw one catch up to an old lady across the street and wrap around her. She tried to run away from it, but it followed her for maybe a hundred feet, wrapped around her all the while, then it collapsed, dumping all its dust and little bits of trash on top of her. It was kind of sad and funny at the same time, at least to a teenager’s eyes. It's the biggest one I've been up close to. Most of the dust devils around are as you described "personal sized"

So I got an old fashioned backlit one that is wired. That way I can update my mb bios, that's caused a couple updates to get rolled back in the past. The onscreen keyboard is even slower since you have to click each character with the mouse!

grasshopper
Nothing exciting today ... yet Helped dig up the neighbor's hose bib. Leaking ... guess a cow bumped into it and broke the "t"... Me and a couple other neighbors did the digging. The property owner is not home. I expect she will be down this weekend... Weather report... sunny/warm. Enough humidity to make a cold drink sweat... that is different. Soda crackers will lose their crisp. Kinda like the rest of the country, on a nice day. Has anyone heard from/of Bill @Ceptorman? Hope he and his are OK.
JohnJ
Ran Ubuntu off a disc, tried Mint I think it was but my GBs of porn wouldn't show up! My motherboard is running a bios that is the third from the current. Have to do each one, can't jump to the newest so I'll have 11 by the time I move probably being in the fast lane for updates.

Man it brews fast I even read good things about that brand over a decade ago when looking for a new brewer. You've got the setup for a serious caffeine addict! 3
JohnJ
One of my Greek neighbors, The ones that moved here in the 90s was real nice to me yesterday and gave me pounds of veggies including those two little onions that I pulled up. Their flavor was so much better than what I pick up at the store it's not even funny. Squash, tomatos, cucumbers, banana peppers and figs.. yum!
oldtimer
Fresh figs? Heaven on earth. I scored some hand made dried Spanish figs a while back, and they are excellent, but nothing beats a fresh picked fig.
