Sancho Panza
Dockers for me; hope I don't ever have to wear Army or Air Force boots again, as that would indicate World War III.
tigerwoodKhorns
I wear boots a lot, but they are of the Sidi, and Alpinestar varieties. Dirt and street, vented and non-vented. Dirt ones have saved my toes quite a few times.
Boxx
My experience in fitting boots is to buy a pair that are very close to your actual foot size (not bigger to be more comfortable). Break those boots in with patience (and good boot socks). If done the right way, your boots will be the most comfortable footwear you have in the closet.... My current pair of georgias took at least 5 years to break in. My red wings were built for my foot 100% custom. I havnt had the need for resole on neither pair and have hundreds of miles on each...My red wings are light and built like tanks although feel like slippers...I hate it when my wife throws them on to step outside...they are my boots and i plan to keep it that way. YuppSi
Old post but I happened to stumble upon it ... and owning a set of Klipsch RF7 MK2's and a fine pair of Lucchesi's... I couldn't resist. Not your common combination here in Holland... hahahahah
YK Thom
Have never tried a pair on, they don’t look particularly comfortable and not something I would suit well. I do wear Blundstones and have for years. Have several pairs in a few different styles.
USNRET
37 year old Nacona snake skins purchased in El Paso, TX. Fit / feel like soft lamb skin gloves.

rebuy
I wore boots all the time when I had my motorcycle. You get used to them. Nothing wrong with Cowboy Boots--JR wore em on Dallas. If you don't like them, how about some tassel's for your loafers?
JohnJ
Steel toes required for work for years, then stumbled upon these Noconas in the mid 80s. Shark hide with some nice red and gray stitching. Knocked the dust off with an old sock and they still look alright. If I'm wearing shirt, tie, jeans I'll still wear `em occasionally. And they are very comfortable. Wouldn't want to run in `em though. Lightweight Lowas when it's hot, Meindl Perfekts when it's not. Nike quit making the best tennis shoe ever years ago the "All Court" and I'll be Dam*$d if I'm wearing retarded plastic, fishnet pantyhose looking glow in the dark sneakers that don't have arch support. I think PWK would call Bullsh*t on that too. Jeans, boots and t-shirts...... what else do ya need for cover!!
Moderators dtel Posted March 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2018 Had a pair once, they were nothing special, just to see if I liked boots. They were way more comfortable than I expected, what I didn't like was trying to get them off, it was not fun.

My brother wears them often and says that they’re the most comfortable footwear ever. But my PF Flyers make me run faster and jump higher. 2

Moderators Travis In Austin Posted March 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2018 I'm not a cowboy either, but wear Lucchesse during the week, always with a suit and tie. Hand made in the USA.

WillyBob
the cowboys I know, don't wear cowboy boot. steel toed, lace up, round toe work boots are what I see. The corner kicker boots and fancy saddles come out when they are playing caballero and not vaquero.
KROCK
Just ordered these on Sunday. I also have 4 other pairs.
WillyBob
nice. realistically those would set a working cowboy back a month's pay.
