    • If anyone is looking for a low cost dongle DAC, I just got this Astell&Kern AK HC2 usb DAC. It has wonderful separation and superb pin point imaging. The housing is made from Billet Aluminum and utilizes dual CS43198 chipsets for awesome spatial sound. Supports 4.4mm Balanced Output Powerful 4Vrms Output   this unit is a couple of years old and AK has a couple generation newer usb dongles, but this one is highly recommended.
    • is that really Horology?
    • I’ve heard great things about the Vali 3, especially for the price. Tube rolling must make it even better; I can imagine how fun it is to experiment with different tubes and find the perfect sound.
    • Have no clue. Cant recall. May have been someone experimenting with something other than Klipsch. Just do not remember. Thanks for letting me know. I will not try and modify them. Also I bought Crites x overs and a set of the Klipsch "127123 - K-792/103-TI DIAPH. KIT" to go in them. I have the x overs installed and it seems to me that the speakers sound far better than before. Now to install the diaphragms when they arrive. I like the sound of these speakers.
    • I have replaced the diaphragms of the K55V with absolutely original diaphragms from Atlas Sound. I've forgotten where they came from, I remember Malaysia but I'm not sure. I had them from Crites for my LaScala. I'm still looking for a European dealer for the Khorn. It doesn't necessarily need to be replaced but it's a bit better in the lower frequencies because the material can get hardened lver the decades. Some discussion here in older threads pro and con replacement, so not really an urgent must.   Please, other members are welcome to say something about the K77. I bought new diaphragms from the Netherlands. I had sent them along when the K77 magnets were energized in Mannheim. After they had installed one of this new diaphragms there, measured and listened to it, they were very, very disappointed. The old first original diaphragms have a much better sound. In Mannheim at the “Lautsprecher Manufaktur” they immediately put the old diaphragms back into the K77. Supposedly these small diaphragms do not age noticeably and sound like they did on the first day. So never replace them if they work. The ones available today are cheap Chinese scrap. If anyone in the forum has a source for good new diaphragms for K77 please let me know. Just in case a voice coil burns out at some point.
    • I am also willing to offer my quad of vintage USA Tung-Sol 6550 tubes to the new owner of the VRD Stereo amp for another $350. Not willing to sell them separately. These have approx 1000-1300 hours on them but have always been my favorite output tubes in this amp.
    • Fancy 🤩   I have been a bit more modest on my wallet (at least I think so), Citizen EcoDrive Diver.
    • Diet and weight loss is a game changer with people prone to gain weight. Have an example in my family. Everything written above applies. But obviously not applicable with generally skinny people with diabetes. Diet is primary in that population. Exercises help a lot, but under medical supervision.
