    • So I have recently acquired two boxes with the above said speakers and parts, I’ve seen online that the tweeters sell for $-399 on eBay for the set? My question is do they hold any real resale value?
    • ... the other wife. 🤣
    • And chauffeuring his wife’s friends around, and the nurses, and reheating his cold coffee, and the sarong again.
    • @Dave1291  Thanks, Dave! That's what I was hoping to get - stories he told.
    • Going good. Austin is, well, Austin. How are you all doing?
    • Those look exactly like what I have! For some reason he stuck Behringer stickers on them….possibly to disguise them? Lol. I can’t post pics here yet but the cabinets are stained brown and in good shape. ill try to read up more on H-700 Heresy. How good are these speakers? Now I’ll try to find something to power them. Not sure what my neighbour was using. But I have a vintage Pioneer SA-8500II power amp. Hopefully I can get the right impedance out of that to power these. From what I’ve read they need 16ohm?
    • Legendary Chicago musician and composer Ted Aliotta, formerly of Aliotta Haynes and Jerimiah, passed away yesterday at age 78.   Ted is a long-time personal friend of mine. Many of you from the Chicago area/Midwest region are probably familiar with the song "Lake Shore Drive". Ted had a stroke and a few other medical issues a couple years ago but still managed to do some gigs now and then.   His older brother Mitch, a bass player (as I) played with The Rotary Connection and Minnie Ripperton passed away a few years earlier.   I've done countless gigs and jam sessions with Ted. On one gig, there was a really bad snowstorm. Ted, & Rodney (the other guitarist) and I had a snowball fight afterwards in the parking lot. I had just bought a rather expensive new bass. When I got home, I realized must have left it at the gig. As it turned out Ted left his 1960's Gretsch Country Gentleman there too - both out in the parking lot covered with snow!!! Fortunately, Ted knew the bar tender and she found them and took them home with her and I was able to retrieve my instrument the next day. When I saw Ted the next day, we just hugged and Ted said "Artie, what have we done!!!"   R.I.P. my friend. I'll see you at that great gig in the sky when I get there.
