@kippy your setup l suggested listening is a pattern. you can visualize anything differently when personalizing them. I do hope that you become adventurous and experiment with your layout. -
Like Icarus flying close to the sun, I am looking to swap out the MC-252 on HF duty for a MC-225. I think that is how it might get better. But is it the best thing I have ever heard so far? It sure is and I am grateful for that. -
Oh... I'm in Chattanooga, but have no money. Too bad ... I sold the ones I had, same vintage. Miss them terribly. -

Hi. I have not tried that yet, but sure will. I was using the internal DAC of the 8950, while trying to get the sound I wanted, I tried a Black Ice DAC with $400 dollar NOS tubes, that did the trick. Well that and better positioning. Now the CW4s are VERY ENJOYABLE for me. -
