the only thing good about it... it isn't freezing. It really tried. Yesterday was 1` off the record low, high temp for the day. It made it all the way to 71`... as a high. Only 20` below normal. and then, I have to drink Kona coffee to make it better. This brand Kona is not my favorite.4 points

Why get rid of the luxman? They are special and sound great, imo. I'm running a r117 on RF7i's and love it! I also have a 115 which gets occasionally rotated into use with a pair of KLF-30s. Again a very pleasant sound that can really wake them up!3 points

A good recipe would probably work, had shark before and it was really good, it was blacktips, but not bullsharks. The guy who showed me how to clean them said you have to leave that red layer that's about 1/4" thick right along the skin, if not it's very fishy tasting.3 points

that's the definition of good meal. you had to eat the oranges, on Kauai, outdoors or over a sink/bathtub. You will have juice running off your elbows.... Never thought of sleeves. Nobody wears them. Oh hey Here's a study we paid for it has been determined that people with ADHD are involved in more car crashes.. Ya think? If it wasn't our money, I would laugh.3 points

Oh Yeah! Good stuff, I've had it marinated in milk overnight then grilled! Liked it better than a tuna steak!2 points

Just some advice, be prepared to wait and pay upwards of 1200. Nearly everyone in the midwest wants a pair or Mint Chorus IIs.2 points

I guess I will suffer these R15ms. Getting things situated to where shi---things aren't rattling off the shelves and quieting these [thin] metal cabinets from buzzing... Still gonna need something better... when "they" come along, I will bite. Don't know what I'm looking for. Maybe a better bookshelf. IDK. What's the read on this Sprout100 amp? Any good for a person "squeezing the eagle"?2 points

No; one of these CraigsList buyers ... he listened for 15 minutes, drank 2 of my (good) beers and said "awesome; I'll be back tomorrow with the money." That's the last I heard2 points

That's way better than New Smyrna Beach in Florida. I really don't care that there not fatal or what kind of shark it is. New Smyrna Beach, Florida To date, New Smyrna has racked up 238 attacks, more than any other beach in the world. This beach accounts for approximately 37% of Florida attacks, mostly by Bull Sharks. As with Ponce de Leon Inlet, however, there have been no fatalities to date. .2 points

OK another change in plans, we ended up ordering online and it should be here in 2 days. When I went back to look at it I noticed there was the same exact pan with the cast iron lid for $7.84 more so being the tight xxx I am I looked up to see how much a lid is. The lid alone is over $25.00 so we just ordered the one online with the lid. Shipping was $5.99 so by ordering something she was going to the store for in the next couple of days anyway made it eligible for free shipping. Cheap yes I am. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lodge-12-quot-Seasoned-Cast-Iron-Skillet-with-12-quot-Cast-Iron-Lid/572761967 $26.76 lid https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lodge-12-Seasoned-Cast-Iron-Cover-L10SC3-12-Inch-Diameter/225777202 points

I talked to this guy for at least 40 minutes. A few things to note, these were completely restored from 2 different year group cabinets with broken drivers in bad shape from the north STL area. One cabinet was an early three inch port and the other a six inch port. I believe he said that he converted them both to three inch and the results are good. Oh and he has a thing for birch, as evidenced by the color choice of refinish. These will take brackets and sideboards to get going. I was not entirely sure what he meant by sideboards. I really want these but have no way of getting to them for the next few days. I assume this is a fairly good deal?1 point

That's the only knock on Monster that I'm aware of. They actually make decent products but are priced multiple times what they're actually worth.1 point

Could be, but... My guess is both the listening session was flawed or the speakers he was comparing the Fortes to weren't the same quality could be true...Lower end Klipsch don't sound like upper-end Klipsch, especially when you crank 'em. 😎1 point

A man and his wife were going to take a ride in a horse driven carriage when the horse bucked up and whinnied. The man got out of the carriage and went to the front of the horse and looked him in the eye and he said, "That's one". He went back into the carriage and immediately the horse whinnied and bucked up. The man went to the front of the horse again looked him in the eye and said, "That's two". He went back into the carriage and the horse whinnied and bucked up again. The man went back to the front of the horse and pulled out his gun and shot the horse in the head. The man went back into the carriage and his wife asked him why he shot the horse. He replied, "That's one". JJK1 point

135" screen, Epson 5040UB projector, Khorns, kplish rear, center and subw, soundproof room, acoustically designed. I love my Khorns more than nearly anything else I own (which isn't much). Actually, my favorite is simply to listen to good quality music well recorded. It doesn't get much better. The small Klipsch's in the image near the khorns are not used. They just happened to be in the image.1 point

In 1980 with my 2nd or so paycheck from a real job (first and only company I worked for ... 40 years), I went to a small stereo shop in Edmonton (long since gone). I listened to a number of speakers I won't mention the brands. They sounded to me like listening to music in a cave. Then the sales person put on a set of Heresy. OMG. Still have 'em, still love 'em. Built my own E crossover, that's all that's changed (oh, and 5 way binding posts instead of the terminals). That's what it is about Klipsch. They sound great and they last, and you can work on them!1 point
