Paducah Home Theater
DROOOOLLL..... MKP :-) I'm excited. Most likely not everyone would appreciate them. I like old school craftsmanship and pride of work, plus the stupid tight tolerances and stupid low voice coil impedance should put me in bass guitar heaven. The trick is going to be getting at least one of them behind my screen though, not looking forward to that.
Rivernuggets
Going down the freeway at about 75 mph and a huge chunk of snow/ice flies off the roof of a minivan. Rear view mirror lands in my lap and broke my garage door opener remote. We're thankful we didn't get any glass in our eyes....or worse. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk wow your lucky that's all that happened , a few years ago I was traveling down a hwy covered with snow it was really bad and I hit something and my tire blew . I got out changed the tire and noticed a ways back a car in the ditch and come to find out it was a older couple husband and wife 70's , I hit a tractor weight and it flew through there front windshield and killed he husband ... Come to find out the weight fell out of the back of a Fireman's pickup early that night . That's a crazy thing to happen. I'm sorry there was a death involved. 99% of the time I don't think twice about how fast we drive. May I ask, where did the liability cloud fall? Did you have litigation to deal with? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I want one where did that come from if I may ask It's from Amazon. Look for steampunk Edison lamp. I don't know the exact place, my wife bought it for me. jason str
New saw came today, Skil SPT78W-01 8 1/4" circular saw. As i get older it gets harder to safely rig up my table saw to cut angles over 45 degrees and i don't want to end up like my high school shop teacher missing half of my fingers. This will allow safe precise cuts up to 60 degrees.
Ceptorman
^^Nice^^ An 8 1/4" saw just cuts and feels SO much better than the smaller ones, much more power. I use a Milwaukee 8 1/4" with a dry diamond blade for cutting all kinds of small masonry and concrete projects.

Milwaukee makes great stuff as well, Grandpa's hand me down Milwaukee heat gun is probably older than me and still works great.

Now I have to figure out to do with my still sealed Emotiva XPA-5 I just bought on the 10th. With my Emotiva E-Club savings I saved 10% on top of the sale price which was too tempting for me to pass up....but now that I have this on the way.... ....decisions, decisions....maybe I will just flip it and save someone else some money on a brand new one instead of returning it. Isn't that the same amp they were blowing out a while back for like 999.00? I think scrappy had one for a while and sold it.

C'mon man, even you are going to have to start slowing down on the amp purchases soon or you're going to have to start setting up 7.1 systems in your bathrooms! Time to update your signature. Again. I got it for much less than the $999 and it comes with warranty.
teaman
Damn it....I forgot about the dedicated line for this beast of an amp. I just canceled my order on Ebay so if you tune in to their jadedesign Ebay shop that amp could be yours!

teaman
Yeah duder. They call for a dedicated 20 amp circuit for that thing. I am hearing now that I guess you can use some Emotiva adapters, even some of the Furman's. With my finished basement theater room there is no way to run a dedicated line so I aborted.... I hate getting useful info late... Edited January 23, 2016 by teaman
K5SS
I snagged these beauties tonight! XF-48 x2, XL-2's with matching stands x2, XL-23, UUB-12HG and NAD T-757 3D receiver I have been wanting to try out these XF-48's for quite some time. They are much larger and beautiful that I was expecting! The build quality on these babies is remarkably, I especially like the aluminum cabinets. I won't have a chance to listen to them tonight but I am sure they will impress me more than the DT Supertowers I owned did. Supper pumped!
