    • Thanks yes zoomed in and can see no holes through. Actually a closer up would have helped yet, have you got a worth that seems reasonable to you? And, do the grilles look presentable? Btw, one more post and your PMs should be enabled so that information can be held in private if you have such a desire, between you and fellow members.
    • It looked like 2 had dings and a 3rd had dings and a few (at least 3) scratches in the copper.  The RF-83's are Black.  Yes, 540 miles each way from Denver.  Roads are flat & fast so little more than 1 days roundtrip but I have friends near where the seller is so I have a free place to stay and catch up with those friends.
    • My initial thought is they remind me of Heresy I’s and II’s on steroids.  Yet their price point sets them right in between Forté IV and Cornwall IV.  Seems like that may be a tall order.  Won’t really know until some more third party reviews come out.  But with the amount of knowledge and experience that went into them, I’d wager they’re going to make it a tough choice for anyone in the market for a set around that price range.
    • Any fans of the fantastic compilation disc that accompany Mojo Magazine? If you don't know about them there is a British music magazine that compiles CDs with various themes. It might be a single artist's work reimagined by different bands like in the case of The Wall Re-Built, or songs that inspired an artist like the Tom Waits disc "...a musical journey compiled and sequenced exclusively for Momo by Tom Waits". Every disc is unique and different and a great way to find new artists and version of favorites.    I've got a bakers dozen (13)  just waiting to expand your music horizons. $30 PayPal Friends and Family or Venmo no fees lands all 13 of these on your doorstep via Media Mail. That is less than $3 a CD delivered.   More info on the entire Mojo discography at Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/label/29287-Mojo-Magazine?page=1
    • All accurate points. And I still wouldn't pay $17k for the newest collab. I'm absolutely the target demographic for this sort of stuff, and sometimes I bite.
    • So you should be darn happy with the pricing on what they came up with together and announced last week.
    • Go bigger !!  80 wpc minimum... Pioneer or Kenwood from the 1970s sounds luxurious.  🙂🙂🙂
    • @Thaddeus Smith isn't a dinosaur like me. He saw the possibilities a decade ago.    It might be because @Thaddeus Smith is a generation younger, or has younger children, or raises goats, but he clearly had the insight long, long before anyone else.    He has always been on the forefront of technology on computers, music streaming, and other things. He also struck me, when I met him, to be deeply philosophical, I think Devon Turnbull is also, maybe that's why he could see ahead.
