MORE KLIPSCH PLEASE
So today I became a U.S. Citizen. My wife and I closed the shop for the day. We went downtown, I took my Citizenship test and got sworn in. It was a long day but well worth it. My parents immigrated from England in 1968, they drug me with em. I was 5 years old at the time. I have a vague memory of being at the U.S. embassy yelling" I don't want a visa, I don't want a visa". lol lol That was a long time ago. A lot of people think that even though I served in the U.S. Army and married a U.S. Citizen that would make me a Citizen. Not so. But that's OK cuz, I took my test and passed. I raised my right hand and pledged my allegiance to this country. Oh yea it was a good day to become an American :-)

Ceptorman
Excellent move, congrats. My grandparents came from England about 100 years ago, my grandfather served in the Royal Navy. A few of my relatives visit us every year, fascinating people. Thanks for serving, good luck.
oldtimer
Congratulations. Now Max2 will let you vote, own a weapon and teach in our schools. I'm not so sure I would be admitting in public about that English part though...

BigStewMan
Congratulations. Now Max2 will let you vote, own a weapon and teach in our schools. I'm not so sure I would be admitting in public about that English part though... First of all, congratulations. Oldtimer … lay off the Brits (i actually wouldn’t be upset if i was one). Pretty cool things come out of England…Queen, Pink Floyd, Yes, some very attractive women too; and there are even Raider fans there. I was told that two weeks ago, you couldn’t find things pertaining to the Miami Dolphins; but, there was Oakland Raiders stuff all over. So we’re obviously talking about a pretty smart country. I like the bands from there. But remember, they are the rebellious ones! And we all know raider gear just looks cooler than any other team, and they are dedicated followers of fashion...

bhenry
Congrats! My dad came from Scotland when he was three and became a citizen about 50 years later. I, too, would like to know what kind of shop. 'Sup Neil? Just picked up my THX Ultra2 subs and amp from Almas yesterday and will be starting the drywall soon. I'll be in touch when it's ready for a listen.
JL Sargent
Congrats on an awesome accomplishment. IMHO A person that serves with our US Armed Services and is honorably discharged should receive a US citizenship!
