  2. Just one of things BSM...Do my best work at night...as a girl said in Pour Paul's Poorhouse in Tallahassee awhile back when I asked where was the party she said... We are the party... besides, maybe the west coast will dig on 9 o'clock...

  3. Since all you nancy boys are most likely asleep, i’m talking to myself here. I bought a new type of beer ... called Pelican Bay Beak Breaker ... and it sucks very supremely. Not sure i’ll have another. Feed it to the guests i guess. VERY hoppy, bitter and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. i think tomorrow i’ll make my liquor run across the border in Washington State. They have a liquor warehouse type store named BevMo there. The only place around here that sells my favorite beer Molson Golden. Will pick up another bottle of Tequila while i’m there.

  5. One of my favorite tunes for testing and enjoyment is Toad off the Wheels of Fire Cream album. Run it through Audacity and get the gain right on your speakers and you hear all the cymbals and little drum stick tricks and can follow Baker around his drum set like you were really there. RIP Ginger.

  6. Not my GT Mike. I did do a ceramic coating maintenance on the Z435is this morning. Wash, apply Modesta Smoke, dry, apply Modesta Blast. Going over the entire car 3 times left me a bit tired.

  7. Actually there's no "history" really. Seriously. If I were closer they'd be mine, but I won't risk shipping damage. That's why I drove all the way to Indy to get those Belles. I'm weird like that. Best Wishes on your sale WestCoast

  9. I was about to say it is cold... and then had to look at snow pics. it's around 45` here. Will get to low 80's. Already warming... sun is up. Because I live in a cold air drainage, we get a draft in the morning and evening when the air settles/moves. Not bad in the PM... on cool AMs, it is like someone opening the refrigerator door.

  10. Wife came home and mentioned this. Surprising because she is mainly a background music type of person. Who knew? Looks to be not quite ready to ship as there is something about kickstarter. https://phonocut.com/

  11. I am with those who cook for themselves rather than bringing in or going out for dinner. Don't get me wrong my wife and I take advantage of the great dining scene in Manhattan, although mostly for state occasions, birthdays and anniversary. Going out has gotten prohibitively expensive. At our house we have a chest freezer in the basement which we keep well stocked. Meat and fish get wrapped in Saran Wrap, put in foil and then into a Ziploc bag, which is labeled and dated. I keep an inventory sheet of everything and try to use whatever is oldest first. It appeals to my German-Virgo nature. Yeah, my old man ws a child of the depression and it bugs me to no end to waste food.

  24. Me too. They both died in their mid ninety's and born in the 19 teens. 1914 and 1917 I think. They were VERY frugal and kept their pantries and shelves loaded at all times. They also kept a refrigerator and 2 freezers full of food constantly. They definitely remembered the lean years and wasted nothing.

  25. Going to a friend's son's wedding this weekend in Lafayette LA, will be looking forward to some good sausage and boudin balls while down there. I couldn't live down there it has grown up so much and the traffic is rough, but they do know good food anywhere around that area. Since there was talk about cars, this weekend is Cruisin the Coast, thousands of old cars. It has grown alot over the 25 years to the point where it now takes almost 30 miles of the coast. https://cruisinthecoast.com/about-cruisin/

  27. A very nice set of vintage La Scala's. These have a beautiful black lacquer finish with the following upgrades, ALK Basic Crossovers, upgrade B&C DE-120 tweeters, and Fastlane audio fastrac horns. The woofers were also redone 2 years ago by Bill Legall of Miller sound and made a great improvement on Bass response. I have around $3K in these. These speakers sound great and look great. I have the original horns to go with them. Speakers are in Athens, TN. I will not ship. Asking $1800.00 Pics can be found here. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649558001-klisch-la-scalas-with-upgrades/

  31. 68f and humidity 86. Raining steady as we speak. Only one day of rain before today, in like a month and a half. Longest dry spell I can recall up to the rain earlier in the week. Getting down into the 30s tonight for the first time. Been very warm.

  42. 135" screen, Epson 5040UB projector, Khorns, kplish rear, center and subw, soundproof room, acoustically designed. I love my Khorns more than nearly anything else I own (which isn't much). Actually, my favorite is simply to listen to good quality music well recorded. It doesn't get much better. The small Klipsch's in the image near the khorns are not used. They just happened to be in the image.
