You know it's time for new glasses when you pop a hun in the quarter slot machine, play two lines, pull twice and the credits are gone. It was $25.00 not $0.25

The real trick is to visit a casino, snuffle down the good cheap food and leave without risking a penny of the family fortune gaming.  ;)

I have alot of practice doing just that, I have no problem walking right past everyone spending money to get to the restaurant..

we did just that, the last time I was with Christy and Eldon and it was a great meal and a good time! :D

I looked into renting an RV a few years ago for a trip out west. After the sticker shock wore off, I bought airline tickets for the family and flew out there instead. The rental and mileage charge was quite a bit more than I figured, it was something crazy like $1.50 per mile plus gas. It was 5k over a 2.5 week period. I'm considering looking at renting a full size custom van and staying in hotels for our next trip. Good luck in your search.

Burnt my tongue on the third cup, so I waited for it to cool, now finishing it up.  My plan tonight is to enjoy some cocktails (straight whiskey) and pull some cables for my next stage of my project.

Where are the pictures of this alleged project?

Morning gang!

Just got up1 tried to sleep off the start of a head cold. :(

Just got 4 drivers coned, that was a tidy $386. I wasn't expecting him to jump on them that fast, 4 days!

I need to get my butt moving as I have some KP-600 cabs to get assembled...

Have a great day everyone, and yes MKP and BOSS, pictures please!

A guy I friended on FB because he works on electronics (there is no one near me that does repair work) agreed to look at my Teac X-7 R2R.  Since I have 2 other decks I was in no hurry and told him so.  Well he has had it a year.  A week or so ago I saw his obituary on FB.  He passed away March 4th and was 59 years old.

Before the family starts divvying up his assets I sent a note to his FB page and called his cell number leaving messages on both.  No response so far.  His wife may still be unable to deal with this yet so I don't want to be pushy. His home is about 2 hours away.  Thoughts?

No way to tell if the family actually got the message.  I'd call, let them know that he has something of yours and let them know that whenever they are comfortable talking about it they can call you.  If you don't hear from them in a month, call back.
