    • However ..There´s still time to spin some records , was my Rolling Stone afternoon 🙂
    • Hey Gents ...Weather is sunny and warm since a couple of days , health condition is so lala ...means I´m waiting to be scheduled for the hospital. I went to a neuro chirougin, she analyzed the latest ct images. I have to have surgery on my cervical spine and lumbar spine, there is no other alternative. Despite the fact that I do a lot of sport, the pain is still unbearable at times and the medication is no longer helping, as I have been taking it for almost 10 months. Think the first surgery will be in june and the second in september , both togehter isn´t possible.
    • Time to  pony up again boys!  I'm such a simple man just throw 'em down in RB when ya build 'em for me.  Don;t need all the flash.  Keep it all under the hood and watch jaws drop.  THAT's the way to roll.  1 of 1 makes it even better.  Active?  Seriously?  Factoring in the Chief's official "okie dokie"?  Who in their right mind wouldn't want these puppies?
    • BTW @dirtmudd that IS on h3lluva tune!  Think I'm gonna throw some down right now.  Beautiful day and time to wake up the hood @2PM.  lol  See ,I'm right on schedule.    Sad the lp's in such bac shape.
    • I own the AL5 myself and have tried several tube amplifiers in the meantime. Of course, everything is about personal preference, but what I personally think sounds the best so far is the 45 SET.  The reason why I think this is the best match for the AL5 is because this amplifier sounds very open and fresh. I would describe the overall sound of the 45 SET as very musical, dynamic, very detailed, clean and maybe a bit thin in the bass but the bass is tight, good placement, and a strong sense of realism.  What I like the least is the 300B SET (I've owned 3 different 300B SETs). Personally, I find the La Scala sounds a bit colored (which doesn't necessarily have to be bad), and I think this coloration plus that of the 300B is just too much coloring. I have also tried two Decware amps, EL84 SET, which also sounded nice but had a somewhat smaller soundstage. Another one I really like the sound of, and this is my number 2, is the 2A3 PP.  It has a bit of the same sound as the 45 SET, only the 45 SET sounds just a bit better in several aspects. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to listen to a 2A3 SET on the AL5 yet, but I hope that will happen sometime.   My ranking of what I find sounds the best on the AL-5: - 45 SET - 2A3 PP - EL84 SET - 300B SET
    • That active LS system with new horns at Subfest will be launched this year and the last Pre-Production Beta has been offered to the Museum. The Museum is going to give them away as part of a Spring Klipsch Museum Visitor Campaign. Click link above for more information.
    • Drool boys drool.  Time's get tough put a dime on it.  Gonna have to pony up if ya want it.  I'm STILL considering  @oldtimer's high bid of twofity!  Ur learnin!    😂  💪
    • Stay Tuned about the Klipsch Museum of Audio History Visitor Center Spring Fundraising Campaign.    Three sponsorship levels, ($25-$100-$250)   Each level will have a corresponding number of entries entered in the giveaway -  a truly unique pair (1 of 1) of the final pre-production all new AL6 La Scalas with active crossover network (including time alignment and eq.).   The person whose name is draw will have the option to select from the woods available for the final production (possibly walnut, cherry, black ash). The cabinet build and final inspection, selection/matching of drivers, and crossover settings will all be personally supervised by Sr. Engineer, Roy Delgado, Jr. (Chief Bonehead) who will hand sign them.   The person whose name is drawn to receive these will be the first in the world to have these in their home.   More details on how to become a sponsor of the campaign and entry into the giveaway will be coming in the next couple of days.
