Growing up my mother would refuse to leave the driveway until all of us kids had our seatbelts on, it was do annoying at the time but it instilled in me the habit of always buckling up. I'm so grateful for that, I do the same thing now with my daughter. If you have kids I hope you do the same, seeing my dead friends parents at the funeral yesterday was heart wrecking. No parent should ever have to bury their child, especially when it's something that was preventable. If you have kids always make them buckle up, even if you're in a rush it only takes two seconds and nothing is worth not being slightly late because you were in such a hurry that you had to put your loved ones at risk. Learning to bicycle in the crazy Houston streets I've learned that you are only as safe as the very worst driver you're sharing the road with. Be safe this holiday season y'all! 💓 -Veaux

Agreed for this week but Bama and Bulldogs will meet in the SEC championship game. If Alabama wins GA is out. If GA wins they are in and Bama drops to 2nd or 3rd. +++ And I do see where the 2nd best offense Ohio State can leapfrog those teams into 4th if certain things happen like GA losing the SEC game and Oklahoma loses the Big 12 championship game vs Texas. OK has the #1 offense in the country but man does their defense stink! If I were the committee I would be hard pressed to make the #4 seed an OK team that just gave up 56 points, even though they did win.

the days start getting longer in 4 weeks... been a bad year with SAD and me the Scalas are ripening. Got a couple weeks to worry about Xmas lights and all that. We get a real "tree" this year. Being cheap/frugal, I cannot see spending $30 for a 30 minute piece of firewood. I clip branches off our arborvitae tree and tie them together as a bouquet tree, using an old wheel as a base.

Appreciate the perspective. For me, the difficult part is deciding upfront which sources are predominantly accurate and worthy of my focus. Where I see the intellectual "laziness" in today's media consumers is in the selection of news sources predominantly because that source reinforces personal biases. Seems that lots of folks are so insecure in their beliefs that simply asking them to explain their position using facts and stats is perceived as an attack. Too much information taken at face value without healthy doses of skepticism and research make it all too easy for the propagandists to shape opinion to their ends. The reliance on facebook and twitter as primary news sources makes the whole thing all too easy. You won't find me using either one. Just my opinion..... Edit for clarity: I am not picking on one party or the other, left or right. My comments apply to all of the above. Just my opinion.

I'd suggest keeping what you have and seeing what you think first. Headroom is a good thing. Second vote there. Don't sell that combo without testing it for quite some time. I personally feel that is an excellent pairing. That parasound amp runs class A for the first 8 watts or so. That DAC is a benchmark that others are compared to. You have trim knobs on the back of the amp if all the way up produces too much level top early on the DACs volume. If I remember right, I think that DAC even had variable output from jumpers on the main board. I think you will love that combo.

Just like you can drive 15 MPH in a school zone while driving a Ferrari, the commercial speakers will also play at low levels. Just because a Ferrari can go 200+ mph doesn't mean it has to. Just because their cinema speakers can go exceedingly loud, doesn't mean they have to. Meanwhile, back at the farm... I was told on more than one occasion by Mr. Hunter that Klipsch designs ALL their speakers for high fidelity... Just some random thoughts to mull over.
