Chris A
I'm getting word that djk (Dennis Kleitsch) has passed: https://www.audioasylum.com/forums/hug/messages/18/181127.html Can anyone confirm? If true, we've lost a very knowledgeable member of our community. Chris

DizRotus
Dennis was a man of few words, but he had vast knowledge. He will be missed.

PrestonTom
This is a real loss and he will certainly be missed. My deepest sympathy to his friends and family. I am also shocked to see how young DJK was. He is the same age as I am.
jwc
This man was a legend on the audio forums. RIP.
Marvel
Cr@p... I didn't hear that. I was I a church with his younger brother from '80 until around '85. Lost touch when we moved south. He introduced me to Klipsch. Incredibly intelligent and kind beyond words... except he wouldn't put up with stupid arguments or flooby dust. I'll reach out to his brother tomorrow. He had his own set of health issues, but I'll try. Bruce 1

JL Sargent
About as smart as they come. I imagine his shop being packed full of reference materials. Didn't tolerate much BS and I had to respect that. Seemed always willing to help too. Another bright contributor lost.
RRR
Sad news, i was hoping it was not true.
Deang
He’s not responding to my emails or answering his phone, so I think this must be true. Holds the record for the longest phone call. We once spoke for seven hours, and covered just about every topic. He really enjoyed conversation. He was a brilliant person, and very kind.
moray james
RIP Dennis you are missed. Here is some additional info from a friend of his, Dennis Kleitsch dead at 63. Audio was Dennis' hobby, besides conspiracy theory, politics, and money. When young, he loved music, started selling speakers and stuff. (With 165 IQ and photographic memory, school was a bore and college was worse). His dad was super smart and held over 20 patents. Eventually was curious why some stuff sounded better than others. Learned electronics, then ran the repair center here. It was the largest jbl and klipsch distributer in the midwest at the time. Dennis worked at Rockwell-Collins for 20 years as a technician Not a lot to know about this very talented man thankfully he touched a lot of people.
