Prayers sent.  I'm sorry she's suffering some inner turmoils.  I had a GF in high school that went so far to turn her gas oven on and stick her head in....only to realize she didn't want to risk blowing the place up with her neighbor (elderly lady) in the building (Duplex).

I hope she can find her peace.  I know how it can be difficult on someone in her position and how it can wear on you.

Sancho ,Prayers on the way - keep tight

it is not easy being cooked up with this covid 19  , some people dont react well to several months of stress , and it's everywhere ,--some women are just terrified of what is going on -

A sort of know what you are going through...prayer sent.

Also, FYI it could go for the better, never loose faith.

Loving God, we pray today for those who are confronted by the sadness,
ambiguity and confusion of mental illness, and for those upon whom they
depend for attention and compassionate care. Look with mercy on all
whose afflictions bring them weakness, distress, confusion or isolation.
Provide for them homes of dignity and peace; give to them understanding
helpers and the willingness to accept help. We ask this in the name of
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hope this brings you some comfort , Sancho

Amen.

Sancho, God knows the hairs on our heads and calls us by name. While things in this world do not make sense to us, that you are asking for prayers is a great thing because He hears and answers our prayers. As Chuck Swindol says, His answers are yes, no, or grow. I am praying for a profound yes, and in this, all involved will grow in the knowledge and love of the One who first loved us.
