Speaking of the Shenkers? The best guitar bros in hard rock ever? Rudolph & his band: Michael & his: Did not recognize the Scorpions the first time back in `77 or so @ the Park Center, but never forgot them after that! Get to the 4th tune on the last vid! Rock Bottom won't disappoint!

Keep ur eyes peeled! Talked to the Bud distributing place about 40 miles from here today since they service Duckburg. The lady that worked there is going to ask the owner, another curmudgeon, who just makes guest appearances when he feels like it. She was laffin her rear off when I got done w/her. She said she'd call me next week if the owner knows anything. Prior to that I called St Louis and talked to some young guy that handled tours and he was clueless. I just remember seeing a big moving company in front of the bar one day and the guys had everything wrapped up loading it. The owner was standing there watching and he's the one who told me the story. He's history now so who knows. That story has been circulating on occasion for years. Thing is I saw it going out the door so it happened. -
Thanks John, made it through the storms thus far, more this weekend. It has been a very strange weather pattern around here all spring. You can never have too many speakers, come get em! You wont regret it, excellent speakers, best I've heard except maybe a pair of UG Jubes. I wont be disappointed if they don't sell. I will just push them back into place and try to listen more often. I just felt they were under utilized. -
Favorite bands of mine vacillated between a few of them when I was young. Having seen this group about a half a dozen times they were among the best musicians of them all. Nothing against the Shenker Bros.. just more melodic and longer shows without an opening band several times. Their first three records, in order & strong releases! After hearing each hundreds of times I've posted on some of their beautiful sounds that showed a nod to what their future held.

He lived in the southwest, IIRC, and was a teacher. He was always super nice. Was also thinking he may have retired, which could push him up in age.
