There is a big difference in how the two center channels perform.  A lot depends on room size.  The 504 will have a larger soundstage. The 500c would work well in a room around 215 SF.  Also, if the mains are less than 7-8 ft. apart the smaller center will work well.

A XO of 60Hz is about right for that speaker.  No need to force the speaker to play lower if voice/dialogue clarity is sought. Adjust the 3000 Hz band up 3 db.  Voices are mostly in the 1000-4000 Hz range for easy detection by the ear. Playing a speaker to the XO cut-off just introduces more distortion IMHO.  The RB 61 is a nice bookshelf speaker, wish  I still had a pair.

A new snowblower to replace the one that blew up in the middle of a snowstorm last week.  Just went with a fairly basic Troy-Bilt 24” with 208cc motor since we just have a single car driveway and not much sidewalk. Bring on the snow!

Bonjour à tous  J'ai un souci avec mon caison r115sw le voyant vert s'allume mais aucun son ne sort le caisson et déjà partie en réparation sav ya 3 ans pour le même souci il on remplace entièrement le caisson, et sa recommence mai la garantie et finie depuis 1 ans j'ai lu toutes les pages du forum mai aucune platine ressemblant à la mienne avec ce souci exact de ce problème a été clairement expliqué et je suis perdu pour la réparation des composants a changé il semblerait que ce soit les nouvelles versions avec la colle silicone sur tout les composants, il ni a aucune trace de composants cramé ou fondu ou même aillant u une surchauffe, je vous joint une photo pour vous permettre de mieux voir le genre de platine amplificateur que j'ai et de m'aide a résoudre ce problème je vous remercie d' avance , ps je crois que la photo ne s'affiche pas car sa me dit téléchargement échoué je valide quand même voir si sa fonctionne une fois publié 

Porting the woofer chamber: Back when I was at Universal Studios, they had "Sensurround" Subwoofers with 18" woofers made by Cerwin Vega. We "found" these "W" bass-horn boxes under the stage at the Hitchcock Theater. I tested and found they were really 60hz boxes unless you extended the mouth about 9 feet!...as they did have extensions to do that. But their sealed woofer chamber was 9 cubic feet. So I modeled it and added an 8~10" round port and tuned to 25 hz. Then added a LR crossover and parametric EQ and walla, I had a pretty tight 25HZ .1 channel subwoofer for film! It was not as tight as a fully horn-loaded sub, but much better than your average bass reflex box. So ya, porting the woofer chamber works well!
