    • I don’t know about that amp in particular but in most amps all RCA/XLR outputs are always active as long as something is connected to the inputs.
    • Hello   Can the XLR outputs be turned off on the RC-1572 Mkii?   Thank you
    • Well I found a manual on it I'll find it and send.
    • Hello to everyone I'm happy to have finally signed up after owning a pair of fortes and several pairs of heresies over the last 20 years.    However this post is about a will Vincent Baldwin 6l6.    I recently acquired this in a trade and written on the bottom is a build for signed Vincent, but also a from Erik Mandaville.   Through some research I found that he was an active member of this community I was hoping that somebody could potentially help me find a way to communicate with him. I'm extremely curious about the history of the amplifier.    And through the many pictures of Will Vincent's amplifiers this is one of the only ones I can find does not have the capacitors  next to the rectifiers but rather opposite end of the power transformer. The output transformers are side by side next to the rectifier tubes and behind the power tubes. I'm having a difficult time finding out which model it is specifically. But as expected from research it sounds amazing. Hello I am adding two pictures, one of the amplifier, and one of the writing from the bottom of the amplifier.    I know this is an odd first post in a forum but I appreciate your time if you've made it this far haha.
    • Great to hear from you. Thanks for the support and feedback. I have a dozen or so videos with comparisons coming up very soon.
    • I was looking around for the right place to post a "new owner" message and this thread caught my eye. So a slight detour --   I currently own a pair of the latest, fully active Avantgarde Duo SD G3. I also gently augment them with two stacks of three each SVS SB16 Ultra subwoofers. They are by any high end metric, outstanding horn speakers. For many (most?) aficionados they would be an end-game horn system with or without the subwoofer stacks.   The AGs are dynamic, effortless, detailed in a good way, image spectacularly and have that horn ability to play very softly without losing the breath of life or ability to engage emotionally for the the listener.   That said, today I demo'd a pair of Klipsch Heritage Jubilees at Kitsap Audio Video. This was the first time I'd actually seen the Jubilees in person -- they are big and seem almost gargantuan compared to the AGs. Victor at Kitsap Audio Video couldn't have been kinder and more generous with his time. I came with a playlist of music I am very familiar and that I played through right before driving down to Silverdale to audition the Jubilees. Victor also played a few favorites. We listened to blues, classic rock, jazz, R&B and soul, classics as well as recently recorded tracks.   Everything you've read about the Jubilees on this forum and most of the reviews out there in Internet land are true. I'm still grinning from the experience. While I could go on in detail about all the things I love about the Jubilees, lets just say that for me, the Jubilees compare very, very favorably with the AGs, and at half the list price of the AGs.   In fact, I like them so much I bought the floor models on the spot. So now I have to sell the Avantgardes to make room for the big boys on the block.   Steve Z
    • I was tempted to correct it to be Georgia, and that the trophy would then go to TCU.  But, with the parade of incompetence currently on display, and the generally depressing reality engulfing us all, I had to refrain out of respect for the majority who are in no mood for trivial shenanigans.
    • What brand of class d amps did you have
